Re: Bouncing audio to midi

Nah...that wasn't it either. I tried a different vocal sample from a different pack and it worked more or less. Must just be the samples of a lo-fi piano I was trying to use which Reason didn't like.

Re: Bouncing audio to midi

You can also just drop the audio file onto a note lane. But in the case where you might be having issues with recognized pitches, might still be best to edit pitches first? I dropped the audio sample direct on to the note lane. Opening pitch edit just shows a few notes though. Could it be that the ...

Re: Bouncing audio to midi

Now I tried bouncing the clip to a new sample which in turn sliced it up nicely. Unfortunately when I go into pitch edit instead of being a melody it's just like a long string of the same note.

Re: One for the guitarists

Anyone recommend any good plugins for making guitars sound interesting? Short answer: get all the Kuassa stuff  Yep. Kuassa. That said, as someone who owns waaaaaay too many amp sims, I can recommend getting Hotone VStomp. It normally costs $99. It’s down to $49.99 in their home page but for s...

$69.99 on Klevgrand's site just now. You also get all 6 soundpacks and a choice of a free plugin from their holiday selection. I'm struggling.
Just buy it a a prezzie to yourself. It's Christmas and you can afford it.

Re: How to replicate Figure in Reason

Or this?… https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/cv-pad/ Does that do notes? Slide Pitch Surface has an interface very similar to Figure. You can define the key/scale, pattern, pitch density (scale steps), and also has X/Y position output. Not actually sure but I guess if you connect one...

Re: Rhodes V-Pan free until end of January

Brilliant. Thanks for this!!! :). I dragged it onto my guitar audio but I had to press the Run Pattern Devices button to get the audio to come through. That's right right? It's an old Combinator, I probably assumed the transport would be running when using it. I came up with a workaround for my Les...

Re: How to replicate Figure in Reason

You might find this very familiar to Figure: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack-extension/slider-pitch-surface/ This needs to be connected via gate and note CV, which it will do automatically if you drop it below an instrument in the rack. https://shop-20220407094725533500000002.s3.amazonaws.c...

Re: Rhodes V-Pan free until end of January

This looks like an LFO based panner? The original Rhodes panner, which I now have in my studio (bucket list, yay!) is NOT a simple LFO waveform. It looks really lopsided and not at all what it sounds like. But still I wanted that LFO shape, so I sampled it! Sounds EXACTLY like the original, which n...

Re: One for the guitar players-what guitar or fx create this sound

Just wondering... That way of playing is typical mandolin technique. I don't know if it possible to find on the web but... it would be artful searching a good midi file with a song that use a mandolin, for example "o sole mio" and learning from it. Had some memory that Re-Tron had a mandolin tape. ...

You might have to also manually add a note lane to the track that you/was created for stutter edit.
