I think Reason should work on things like workflow improvement rather than give us new synths. If a vst synth already exists, just use that synth rather than recreate it. chthulu and reMIDI 2 dont work in reason 12 because you cannot route midi from vst. Seems like all other daws can accommodate. Would love to see some midi routing capabilities in the standalone app.

2x DrumSeq on a Kong for 16 pad sequencing. Throw it in a combi, then put a kong above that and use gate out for pattern selection on the 2 drum seq modules in the combi. I like it because of the akai mpd I have

its really good, but I have a hard time visually sequencing in rack alongside the arrangement view. For instance aligning CS chords with drum hits or other samples in the arrangement.

That being said, Notes to track is fire. Most of the presets are fire. Chord suggestions are, you guessed it, fire.

combi 2 needs to fix the reverse panel so when you add a control or switch, it adds a control cv input as well. I hate that its limited to 4.

Also a momentary switch would be helpful for gate cv.

advanced midi is the best, i mapped my launchpad pro to advanced midi and have 4 kongs corresponding to the sections on different channels. its fun and works well

Im using volt sl1 for my default template. I cant seem to automate past "Control 16" for any of the sets. Are there just too many Automatable parameters for reason to handle?
