Do you think sales of RE's are down after the forum closure?
I think it will cost them some sales. The forum had the ability to hype stuff up. There was interaction with devs, stuff was explained etc etc. It made Propellerheads as a company less anonymous (even though they never really participated in the forums). There were loads more people watching than pa...

Rewire 2 bidirectional Midi
Yeah, i know there are ways to get Midi out of Reason. I use Remote for more CC related stuff but since i read that Rewire 2 should handle bidirectional Midi i was wondering if that has been implemented somewhere. My current usecase are Max4Live templates for every Reason Synth that control the para...

Rewire 2 bidirectional Midi
What do the Props mean when they say Rewire 2 has bidirectional Midi? At least thats what the Reason 7 manual says.
Now i wonder how that looks like and which DAW actually implements this.
Did anyone ever get in contact with bidirectional Rewire Midi?

Question:Can REASON used a DSP audio card ?
Before buying a new card i would really inspect the "15- 23 or so tracks total and I only use about 1-2 REs/stock devices for each one". It does make a difference if you use 23 Antidotes or Thors, 23 Tsars or RV7000s and in the worst case a new card really doesnt get you that much of a jump. There i...

System 9 Pattern Sequencer in the shop!
Sigh, another non remotable sequencer. I really hope OchenK releases his one even if there is no note to track. I am even considering doing it myself if no one does it. I mean, look at the Push sequencer which works on an 8x8 matrix but can create Patterns of many bars length and even do parameter ...

Also my most burning question. I doubt it though, 16x32 steps means 512 remotables - possible though.Goan wrote:Is it remotable? I'd love to build a more streamlined version of this:

Question:Can REASON used a DSP audio card ?
In that track, what REs are you exactly using? Have you checked if there is one hog like eg a complex combinator Patch. There are certain REs or even Patches which will blow up any CPU.

Reason 9 New Clip Launch IDEA
The clip paradigm in Ableton has one huge advantage which i just learned while checking out Push and Reason together (which needs extensive MaxforLive devices to make it seamless because Abletons automation system has its flaws too). And that is the complete clip can be automated from a controller. ...

Zvork Volt SL-1 update coming (SDK 2.0 stuff)
Is there any reason why only the first 15 knobs are remote mappable? and none of the buttons? anyway if you want to map it these are the commands Hi, the buttons not being "remote mappable" is due to an initial design choice of the Volt SL1 since the very first version. All set buttons control a ...

Man, i have nearly finnished the launchpad codec for Reason and now they bring out this: http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2015/01/22/namm-2015-novation-launchpad-pro/ I just hope the pads are a bit more stiff. But anyhow this is a cool piece of hardware. This and the Midi Fighter Twister are a dream t...

Midi Mapping Question
You probably map the looped back midi via remote overrides?
If you write a small codec instead then i think you have more options to constrain the values. But it is more work and knowledge needed.

HOW do you Select the MIDI input from the RACK?
Right click on the device, then somewhere down near the remote codecs there is something like switch to devices sequencer track. It will autoopen the sequencer though. I have moaned about this so often itfinally ended up in their request database to do something about remote asignment in rack view. ...

If I didn't know Propellerhead produced professional desktop music software, I wouldn't know it from the new home page. Yeah looks like some kindof filesharing/cloud website. It is not THAT bad but the old one wasnt that bad either. But 95% of screenspace is about discover. Haven't tried it, is it ...
