Well... REs extend the rack which can be used in other DAWs as you know. If you want more sounds for the rack buy the REs, but wait for a sale. :) If you want more DAW features look at other DAWs that might fill what’s missing for you. Reason will never catch up to them at this rate of development. ...

I think there’s maybe only four... one for each string and maybe different velocities. I haven’t used it in ages but I remember them being in there. The manual has more info.

Your post is misleading saying that it is Pattern Mutator’s fault. You can cause this sort of behavior if you’re not careful what you’re doing with CV in general, lol.

I’d consider subbing if RS put out more demo songs using new REs and features as they are released. I think the demos are a fantastic way to learn and I’ve learned a lot by looking at some of the older ones.
