Re: Maymadness & RE?
With BF & MM both in the same year each year I imagine it is more difficult to sell REs at full price for most Devs particularly those who've been in the shop a while as their original pricing strategy would not have been set up with these kinds of routine mass price slashings in mind? I find that g...

Re: Noise Engineering on sale
Which of the two is the best option if you have none of them? Bundle two has more devices. Some of which may be based on the 1st bundle IRRC. After getting the 1st bundle I really want the second bundle now, after trialing it in the past. They make some wicked sounds, really useful for layering; as...

Quick Easy Low Res Sample Trick
Had a request to do a video on enhancing low quality vocal samples.
Did a quick(ish) video with a low bit rate game sample to try and make it standout in a basic mix. Let me know how you guys go about this.

Re: Poll: Acoustic Vs. Synth Instrument RE
One thing that I'd love to see that I dont think I've encountered in the RE realm yet, is a hybrid between electronic and acoustic instruments. Its something thats done really well with VSTs. The Spitfire Labs stuff for example, the UI is super simple but underneath the hood are acoustic instruments...

Re: Q-FX Quad Multi Effector by SKP Sound Design
This is a must buy for me. Will replace the synchronous effects and this device coupled with CV modulation from something like Ammo will be a total beast. All those effects with crazy modulation is like resampling paradise! Nice clean layout as well.

Re: Do you still buy REs?
Yeah Bezier dynamics Scale Matrix M-Max MB Limiter Good to see developers still producing native devices. The RE buyer market is niche though, if RS release the Reason rack for free with no instruments added and maybe a few utlities like splitters and lfos. I think this would attract more people int...

Re: Sonuscore Donation Flash Sale - 96% Off Origins Bundle
Man these sounds are so nice! I would be getting this but I'm not keen on the tall Kontakt pay wall! This 15 minute limitation is it per day ? Edit: I seem to have some versions of Kontakt products that came with the Maschine Jam hardware I own, I assume those libraries are just for the Maschine sof...

Re: Multiband processing RE bug?
Hey guys, each time i open old projects that have been processed through multiband rack extensions there seems to be a crazy delay that aligns with the buffer integer in the preferences. Sounds a lot like this is the problem. Probably something to do about how you're connecting stuff? https://help....

Multiband processing RE bug?
Hey guys, each time i open old projects that have been processed through multiband rack extensions there seems to be a crazy delay that aligns with the buffer integer in the preferences. I recently changed my hardware as my FA66 no longer functioned. A friend gave me an old Digi Rack 002 and it work...

Re: Do u use “blocks” in Reason?
People keep saying blocks should overlap, and not going to lie once upon a time I thought that this was necessary too (https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7506678&p=389843&hilit=blocks#p389843 ) . But you'll find Bouncing block to song clip sufficient for this, where its midi you simply...

Re: Do u use “blocks” in Reason?
Extensively! I tend to come up with multiple ideas in one sitting and having the ability to sketch in a completely fresh sequencer without having to close and open projects is a workflow dream. Furthermore it allows me to experiment with ideas, and once a block is painted in song mode I can record ...

Well I got beat to Neutron & BZR which are making it into almost every track for different reasons each time aat the mo. I'll have to go with the AD480 reverb. Man this reverb is powerful and flexible (cv galore). Never before have I successfully used a reverb to fatten the bottom of a kick or enhan...

Re: What are your must have Rack Extensions?
Subjective answer. I really like experimenting in reason so I've grown fond of really weird devices or devices that are really flexible and can behave strangely with some settings. Synths: VK2 - there just isnt a better synth out there for classic analog sound and it can do a heck of a lot more than...

Re: (Trance) Production technique study/showcase
I've heard trance before of course but have no idea of the techniques used to make it. Sounds nice! Is it typical for trance productions to have that much low end in the stereo field? Maybe try a 200hz low cut on the "sides" of those low frequencies. It sounds like the bass is leaning on the left a...

Re: Genesis Pro, a promising new synth out in Feb 2020
I think it's an amazing synth, and much of the criticism really makes no sense. Sure, there are some bugs that needs to be fixed, but that happens to basically all pieces of software. The biggest issue I found was that the bridged 64-bit install didn't work very well in Reason, but Ummet Ozcan is w...

i have been testing it on and off for the past few hours and i'm not really sure if the randomizer is working, channels with chance set to 0% can still get triggered and channels set to 100% or 75% don't really seem to get triggered more than channels set to 50%. i'm not really sure what the gate s...
