The other thing is DPC latency died years ago, and it might be nice to have a tiny RE that would measures it

Slow down hepcat... instant midi?? have you tried widi recognition?? It is not that weasehly precise more than hardware transcriptors, unless it is a very clean signal, ideally pre-processed to isolate stems... that is something... ok, intensive, in some way... for the cutting stuff, there is beat m...

Is it possible to get a benchmark option>?
What is common for 3D rendering, and also games has it sometime, as either standalone, or integrated benchmark. That would crunch out what the target machine is capable of. Speaking of Reason interface, is not so obvious how to do it, apart opening a nasty nest from Chtuluh's realm song file. So it ...

Re: USB Mixer with 4 Channel Soundcard?
Despite the fact I personally do not like iCON, the AIO 6 has 4 separate Output, it is unclear if they are balanced, and still less clear how this could work with ASIO, even if they say it does, that really mean YOU SHOULD NOT TRUST them. But on paper, is something I have been looking after for a wh...

Re: Building a cheap XEON rig, Audio DSP virtualization.
I must correct that a bit, those MACs run anyway much older (and cheaper nowadays) Xeon CPUs. not V4 nor V3 for sure not 14nm. i7 4790k only 88 TDP? I didn't know that. But I know the 1650 V4 6 core is 140 Watts, so, mine should still run cooler *with liquid cooling and possibly not 24/h a day 7/7. ...

Assigning MOTU DSP to SSL MIxer only, possible???
My Motu FW Ultralite come with EQs, built in, the MK34 with comps, that are really powerful, and use internal DSP of the CARD. Is it possible to assign SSL resources to use the same rsources of the MOTU FXs???? I'm about not 100% certain that is possible, but what about hacking some little code to b...

Building a cheap XEON rig, Audio DSP virtualization.

How would affinity 55 work on an i3 processor with HT?
In other words it will disable HT or if the process uses HT, it does't use the real core, so better performance?
Code:
cmd.exe /c start "Reason 9" /affinity 55 "<path to program>"

Different CPU loads w/wo Rewire and Reaper
Hi all, I'm just new to the family, purchased :reason: 9 just few days ago. My rig is a laptop w/ i3 3320U with 8g ram and Motu Ultralite Mk2, twice as fast as my old desktop Q6600 with a julia. But half the cores, so basically, no difference at all *except memory, only 4gb on desktop. Still is just...
