Since I'm zooming in and out all the time, this makes a massive difference.

I just use "Z" to zoom to selection, then again to zoom to all. Changed my life, seriously.

I wouldn't worry about "losing access" to the servers and so on, that's not very likely in the next few years at least. I don't think Reason will just suddenly explode and disappear. Instead, think about what you need...

I love Players. But I use no midi vsts, since reason doesn’t support them.

About the only thing that kills me in the sequencer is the inability to quantize note-ends to the grid. Ie highlite a whole section of notes and quantize all their end times to grid in one go.
