Re: AI - Cheating or just evolution?

We already have a deluge of good music that already exists. AI will just create personalised samples for music makers to use. The company Suno are almost ready to release 'continuation' which means a user can upload an unfinished track and AI will complete it for them and with that the amount of in...

Re: AI - Cheating or just evolution?

Well well well, AI music creation has took another leap forward, it is going to be as good as image creation in the very near future.
The way we will create music will totally change

Not that I'm aware of, you'd have to export as wav and then work from there.

Re: Generative music for special needs

This looks good for some of the people I look after, thank you. It works really well and you can easily get lost in it, you can also remove elements which isn't shown in the video. The only downside I've found is that you exit a scape you cannot return and play with it again as it becomes 'locked' ...

Re: Now And Then — The Last Beatles Song

Absolutely, almost all the albums are very patchy. Rubber Soul is the one for me that's closest to being chock full of great songs, but even then there's The Ringo Track. The later albums take more risks but they don't all come off For me the album I think is their strongest for all round content i...

Re: Cubase 13 and Studio One 6.5

Used Cubase years ago as my go to DAW but it just got so convoluted it eventually killed any creativity because most of the time was spent doing multiple things for simple results. Never had the need to return and have a quick skim through that video it looks just as convoluted as the last time I us...

Depeche Mode - Speak and Spell

Oh yes! Another obligatory Alex Ball video this time it is a banger (literally) covering the percussive excursions of one of the most influential albums of the early 80s (and one of the weirdest covers of the time)

Re: Outdoor Recording Studio

Aosta beat me to it but my answer is pretty much the same. Cubasis for a traditional DAW experience (NanoStudio 2 runs it close), Korg Gadget for a whole bunch of brilliant synths and drum machines (different to Reason but somehow has a similar vibe) and Beatmaker 3 for a more MPC type of workflow....
