Cubasis for a traditional DAW experience (NanoStudio 2 runs it close), Korg Gadget for a whole bunch of brilliant synths and drum machines (different to Reason but somehow has a similar vibe) and Beatmaker 3 for a more MPC type of workflow....

And according to the first post he already has had access to a whole load of stuff so it appears to be more of a want than a need.

Used this back when it was called 'Fruity Loops' and I have had no compulsion to revisit, after watching the video that still stands.

I'm currently waiting for black/cyber days to pick up a 14" laptop and Asus are way down my list of potentials. Much better options out there.
