Re: Having a ball with reason 12 - workarounds for a couple things?

As for the built in delay compensation in Reason this part of the manual might also give an idea what's happening there: http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=PDC.18.2.html Some very noticeable visual lag might even be an case where contacting support could be...

Re: Duplicates Block in Block Mode

For Transitions I usually just paint over the parts of the Block that need changes in the sequencer in song mode. But I agree that having a copy block and paste block option in the edit menu would be nice. Still ctrl+a +c, then going into the new block and pressing ctrl+v is not that bad for a thing...

Re: Having a ball with reason 12 - workarounds for a couple things?

You could try to turn off "Render audio using audio card buffer size setting" and see if it changes the visual delay. Also have a look at these pages: http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=Audio%20basics.04.4.html http://docs.propellerheads.se/reason12/wwhelp/...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?

Here is a quickly thrown together 3U version. I didnt put much effort in since it is probably gonna change so much anyway Mostly got rid of the smaller knobs and made a bit more room I will start on the signal routing now since all the UI elements I will need are there (except maybe PAN width knobs...

Re: Nebula Reverb

Keen to try it - as I have some odd fascination with new reverb and delay plugins - but it certainly gives off the vibe of someone having 'acquired' a bunch of algorithms on the interwebs, put them in a container and slapped on a 2 min photoshop job for the front panel. That's not a random collecti...

Re: Reason 12.7.4 Release Notes

So, Europa in Reason 12.7.3 can sound a little bit off when using distortion. As you now know about this it's an easy thing to fix: If you made a patch in an earlier version --> no problem, just update to 12.7.4 or higher and don't use R12.7.3 If you made a patch or mix in R12.7.3 --> Choose one of ...

I think NI will step by step unify all its sub brands into additions to Komplete/Native Access so they don't have to support additional deployment and authentication systems for eternity. Merging of the different accounts into a/the NI account will also be step in this process.

It would be possible to create some players that could generate the note sequences, but only with much less eye candy as the options for blur and such are quite limited in the RE custom display widget.

I think you're misinterpreting what logical AND does. AND gives true if both of A or B are true (= over the threshold). What you're looking for seems to be bool(A-B).

It's very valuable info for someone who is new to Reason and has not yet taken a deeper dive into the possibilities of it. ...

Re: How to create Unison effect in Thor using analog oscillators

Dividing by an oscillator or LFO is not a good idea in general as any oscillator/LFO will periodically hit 0. Thus it's usually multiplication instead. So, where is the division's application? Creating noise. Every pass close to 0 will cause clipping and thus distortion so the result will be pretty...

Re: Any hiss or noise reduction tools in reason?

The best kind of noise removal is usually done via an offline process where the tool can analyse the whole file to generate a (dynamic) noise profile. This cannot be done just as good in a live process (like in an RE).
