Re: POLL: What version of Reason are you using?
Just upgraded from 6 to 8 recently when I built a new PC. My old Windows XP beast lasted a SOLID 10 years. Built in 2006 and retired in 2016. Never had a single issue with it and now its on backup duty, still running strong (never touched the internet). Looking at updating to 9.5 here pretty soon. N...

Re: I'm looking for a extension that sounds most like Nord Lead A1?
I tried the DiscoDSP once and thought it sounded absolutely horrible. But if you guys say it sounds good I might give it another try now that VSTs are coming. I've put a lot of time into editing my Nord 2x and if I can approximate patches on it with a VST, then that would take my mobile workstation ...

Re: Now that Reason 9.5 gets VST support, time for an analysis!
I tried the VST chasing game for a few years. It got REALLY OLD. When Reason FINALLY added audio recording, that was all I needed to switch. Never found inspiration from other DAWs. Hate their workflows. I tried Pro Tools and didn't even give it a week. Not fun to use. I Don't use VSTs. Don't need V...

Re: The SSL mixer sounds a lot cleaner and brighter than the reMIX mixer. Will we ever get a rack version of it?
I have a massive combinator group utilizing every note available on the scale from c-2 to c8 with several NNXT's handling different sections. It's ridiculous. It started out with a remix mixer but when I upgraded to the version with SSL, I realized I do like the SSL better. So one day I unplugged th...

Re: Free Rack extensions: Real time list
But it *is* the culprit. When I removed everything and tried adding them one at a time, it said "some rack extensions are online only". I removed it again and no longer had the prompt. Any word on May madness sale? Is that an annual thing that can be relied upon? I've been holding out for a long tim...

Re: Free Rack extensions: Real time list
Thanks for the list. One thing that bugs me about some of the free ones is that they require internet logons No plugin that is purchased (paid or free) requires you to login. Chances are you didn't follow through with the purchase, but instead are trying those particular REs. It's free, but you sti...

Re: Free Rack extensions: Real time list
Thanks for the list. One thing that bugs me about some of the free ones is that they require internet logons. Is there a way to know beforehand which do and which don't? While I'm asking, anyone know how to remove unwanted RE's from your RE inventory on prop's site? And what the hell is JJGreen goin...
