When using Reason as a plug-in with Reaper DAW, it's great for being able to use DSP-intensive synths like this one (and Viking 2), can run many instances of them in RRP inside Reaper without issue.

For that sort of money, I'd also suggest checking out the various Valhalla reverbs.

Easy upgrade. For some reason it has lost the patch settings when I load songs used with the 2.0 version but it's pretty easy to fix that of course.
