Maybe they are battery powered.

I have overseen that for years so I never registered my email address to any RE developer. But next time I'll take a closer look

Re: (triphop) Mirror
I mean this as a compliment... reminds me of Moby's "Whispering Wind" ....got that long mellow vibe..... I like the use of noise in the bass too. Thank you! Interestingly he used similar FX (rotary speakers an something else) on the voice. I got the idea for using rotary speakers from The Beatles' ...

Re: Grain Discussion Thread
Grain has a few more modes or grain engines, this spectral filter and a oscilator, bunch of build in fx and looks better. Proton is quite close to Grain, but Grain actually wins. If you already own Proton, you do not really need Grain, but it is a good 2nd weapon. Grain doesn't have per-grain (part...

Re: Reason n00b with questions
I have no motive for my "complaints". I do not want to make you believe anything because obviously I can't. At the very least this can be my very long feature suggestion for the Propellerheads. So Propellerheads, it is very nice that you give us the 3 primary colors from which we can then make more...

Re: Player key algorithm fine tuning to Ochen tuner.
Oh, I have mistaken MicroTune with CV Tuner. It's interesting to see your point of view, and I've raised interest in the MIcrotuner too. Really! Actually I don't use it because of the setup needed to play polyphonic. I also found another way to microtonality by using synths like Thor, NN-XT, Parsec...

Re: Reason n00b with questions
My main plugins are Omnisphere and Keyscape They also come as VST so you can use them with Reason. I have many workstations from Korg and Roland that I use more than plugins. Maybe to those of you who have not used such things, your ears have not experienced different sounds other than Reason's. It...

Re: Reason n00b with questions
And that is a fair critique, Enoch. But you see, with Logic's sounds, I take full, rich, shiny, sounds and make them fit into songs by stripping them down. In Reason I have to take dull, lifeless, cheap sounds, and try to make them big and luxurious. Again, I am talking about the factory sounds onl...

Re: Player key algorithm fine tuning to Ochen tuner.
One thing that comes in my mind is that when you use the chord function in the Player and run that chords through MicroTuner you will not get the expected results because MicroTuner uses PichBend to do the microtonal tuning and this will detune all notes of a chord with the same amount. To use Micro...

Re: Player key algorithm fine tuning to Ochen tuner.
ANother soultion might be to transpose the note CV value that goies into MicroTune down 3 semitones and after it comes out transpose it back up 3 semitones (or using a splitter before transposing down because the only thing you need from MicroTune is the PitchBend output). I think this can be done b...

Re: Player key algorithm fine tuning to Ochen tuner.
The Player goes from C up to B and Microtune goes from A up to G#. I put both in a Combinator and set the same knob to Key in the Player and to RootNote in MicroTune and it goes synchronous but always a minor third apart. One soultion might be (if you don't use that much different tunings in MicroTu...

The bullies start coming out I see. I don't know why you make fun of me when your own members have basically agreed with my fresh (brand new reason user) statements about Reason's Factory sounds. Keep in mind that is all I have said is poor. And I think it is pretty clear that yes, if you really wo...

Re: VST instruments in the rack
it would be nice to be able to place the expanded VST instruments in the rack like this screenshot cause it feels strange to have pop ups in reason ReasonTech_0817_01-mI1A87qqUKNnxw6y1UikHm1hMRKEfhK..jpg ... and then being able to connect the cables from inside your VST synth to Reason's back side ...

The Reason Only Challenge (no prices)
after following this thread https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7503389 for a while I think it's time to show up what can be done with Reason (up to 9.5.2) without any priced RE or VST. So feel free to make a song/track using only Reason and free REs and post a link here. There are no p...
