Re: Added devices sometimes only get Left channel routed
Not infrequently, I'll have some issue with the stereo imaging of a track and then notice that some effect I added only has a mono connection (i.e. no cable in right channel on back). I'll have just dragged these devices in normally, so I can't figure out why it happens. It seems to happen with vst...

Mac only Line Mixer Pan not working. R11 only.
I have a track with a Subtractor going into an audio splitter, and then into a Line Mixer L/R that goes into a Mix Channel. The Line Mixer Pan visually works in the Line MIxer, but not in the Mix Channel. Completely L or R pan, does not affect the Mix Channel L/R. Sound stays centered. Pan works on ...

Re: They seem to really need the money: REASON 12 UPGRADE 60% OFF
OK, I upgraded. I wanted to wait for R13 but that's it. Let's hope the M1 devs gets some love!! Vcv community is working hard toward M1 re-coding of Vcv rack. Maybe RS devs could find some inspirations in those threads... https://community.vcvrack.com/t/build-rack-from-source-on-mac-m1/13203/6 IF th...

Re: Reason plugin on M1 Mac with Native Daws
This might be a stupid question but does the Reason DAW open on your computer? Yes, I even launched it parallel to trying to open it in GB or LP, thinking the login could be a problem, to no avail. It's all in the videos. Reason works standalone. Anyway I still use Reason only as standalone mainly....

Yes it does////stillifegaijin wrote: ↑17 Jun 2022I don’t think it works in GarageBand. I’ve opened it in Logic on a Mac Studio M1.
Does GarageBand even use third party plugins?
I'm trying Logic Pro Demo to see if it works for me... tnx for the info..

Reason plugin on M1 Mac with Native Daws
Hallo everybody. I have been trying to load Reason as a plugin inside Garage Band on my M1 mac mini. Error - Hardware exception - Reason can't start. Has anyone an idea as why Reason stop working as a plugin? In theory, the Mac internal Rosetta bridge, should allow for non native AU plugins to be lo...

Re: Recorded Midi plays different than live- D05
What sound source are you actually playing? If you're playing a sound generated on the D05, from the D05 keyboard - then you might have an issue with the "Local On/Off" setting on the keyboard. Briefly, if Local is turned on, then your keyboard is playing the sound directly, *as well as* sending MI...

Recorded Midi plays different than live- D05
When playing a chord on the keyboard, to the D05, it plays more full, as if it had a sub-octave more than when playing the same chord recorded in Reason. I tried recording the chord in: Player sequences Player Polystep Sequencer Midi All three methods failed at reproducing the same sound from the D0...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
Nothing to be scared about, I was trying to get in front of what is seemed some people we getting worried about. The release of M2 doesn't mean anything for M1 compatibility. If it's M1 compatible, it's M2 (in the most basic sense - they'll always be outliers) As for Garageband, yes you can use plu...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
For me, most important part of M1 support, is optimisation of audio interface work with Reason. Look at Presonus Quantum 2626. Own Thunderbolt driver, compitable with M1 and intel-macs. Latency about 0.7ms on intel-mac Latency about 4.5ms on M1 under Rosetta Still waiting in future native support o...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
To be clear, the M2 architecture is the same as the M1. It’s not as if all devs will need to rebuild their apps to make them compatible every year or 2. It’s the same as the latest Intel chip, same architecture just better performance. That's precisely what scares me... I guess M1 Reason downloads ...

Re: Latest Roadmap (June 3 2022)
At home, I find M1 compatibility more important than VST 3 format _ Same, but that it keeps running on my i3 win 10 laptop is still more important.... NI has also M1 native support roadmap on its entire catalogue in mind (Reaktor...?) that will take ages... if it's even possible at all for programs...

Re: Do you think the nowday's Reason is too CPU-heavy?
The truth (lol) is, that when i use only stock synths and fx of old times, I can add a trillion of them in my project before the CPU starts wheezing. Yeah, I can run pretty anything on my dual core i3, maybe even an advanced delay fx, for as long as it is stock. Scrolling sometime is still glitchy,...

Win 11 to Go. Nightmare.
I've been running Win 11 for all winter, on a Nvme drive, installed as Win 11 2 Go, skipping TPC requirements the install went fine. Soon problems arised. AMD drivers were constantly and repeatedly overwritten by win updates, each time breaking the Graphical drivers and requiring a roll back of some...

It's hard to believe that the company has not gone out of business yet, it's only a matter of time. Why?? They are not vaporwavers... I'd never buy the field mixer at that price, but the idea is supercool.... Behringer can not copy TE. The day Behringer copy a TE, it could fail. Otherwise they will...

It converts, or rescale, lfos, to the digital voltage for Midi clock. So it's basically an analog signal with digital properties. If fed to a midi input, it will be read as midi clock signal. Yeah, sorry for the crude explanation or lack of intelligible instuctions. Wow, that’s super clever but sou...
