Good if so. I can't see anything implying confirmation though?
I'm not usually right, but I took minilog's reply to me on the subject of disappearing from time to time as coming from someone in the know ;-)

Re: Jean Michel Jarre

He's certainly had a spectacular career over a long period. I thought he'd died when I first saw the thread. Sadly there's been far too many obituararies over the last few years. It must be down to my age, so it's nice to see someone who's still 'at it' being celebrated, regardless of taste or prefe...

I really appreciate his work too. His creations always makes me smile and enjoy, and I got that feeling he'll end up being the Banksy of musicians. Deleting excellent work is not a big deal: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand_mandala Looking forward to experiencing more of your work Modecca. Spea...

Re: Audio card detected out put fine but no input Reason 10

I assume if you are using Logic that you are on a Mac, which hinders any help that I could give being a Windows user myself. However, providing that the Audiobox is showing up its ins and outs on the system then I can only suggest selecting Edit/Preferences from Reason's main menu, then selecting wh...

Re: Does anybody know if Modecca/TeflonTomb is OK?

Disappearing from time to time is something that his mucker Peter Lansford also has a history of. Perhaps it creates an air of mystique. I personally do it because I have self-destructive behavioral tendencies. There is a positive aspect to my antisocial personality in that it pushes me further dow...

Re: Synapse EQ vs Selig Coloring EQ (1 subscription slot left)

I own the Synapse EQ and it's great EQ much like the kind of EQ that gets bundled natively with many DAWs. Coloring EQ also covers that ground but also has much more additional scope. I'd venture, the oft claimed statement that "you cannot polish a turd" is now redundant with the Selig Audio device....

I hope that's the reason anyway, rather than any deeper dream, such as a real-life crisis.

Re: Getting old?

I got an unsolicited discount on a haircut. When I enquired as to why I got it cheap, he said something about over 60's being 40% off! It came as a shock, especially as it was my 60th that day. I quite like being my age though, stuff that seemed almost crucial at one time really didn't matter in the...

Re: What are your fav RE EQ and why!!

The SSL mixer EQ because habit. Also, it's great for filtering and offer what I need most of the time. GQ-7; when I want narrow cuts. VE-3 and MP5; for the fun of using them. ColoringEQ; for its ability to globally scale my EQ moves. I concur with this mostly, in that I'll use different things for ...

Re: Midi VST - One Windows solution

Instead of Loopbe 30 and Pizmidi on Windows, Loopmidi by Tobias Ericson will allow you to create as many midi ports on the fly as you want and name them how you like without even having to reboot your machine. It's the best virtual midi setup out there. I even sent the dev a donation it is so good. ...

Re: Great video about sound mirrors

Fascinating :) I had never heard of these things. I actually live very near those ones on Denge Marsh and have visited them a few times. They weren't that effective and by the time planes had speeded up in the '30's the short amount of early warning they provided meant they were obsolete, luckily R...

I got it, authorized and got it running OK. Then freed up the disk space it consumed. LOL! Not impressed with it, eh? I think the UJAM stuff is a great idea, it's just that I personally can't find a use for them. I'm fortunate in that I have a wide range of accomplished muso's at my disposal that a...

Re: No one mixes like this anymore

Stuff today is so extremely balanced which such extreme deep lowend. Cool but I am missing rawness many times. No one mixes like this anymore. Modern mix engineers would say this sounds wrong. What do they know? Those handclaps are loud. Drums panned to the right (love that!) , a hell of a swing. A...

It's an amazing deal when you take a closer look.

I got a whole rake of presets, to browse through, for various RE synths, it'll keep me occupied for some time and I've found some good sounds already.

I don't know if the offer is still on, but I thought it was remarkable so I remarked on it.
