Re: Rammstein - Jeder lacht (C64 Cover)
Here is my C64 remake of Rammsteins unreleased song "Jeder lacht" (Everybody is laughing at you) that was on their demo cassette tape. https://www.you tube.com/watch?v=hk3peGy1v60 That was really well done. Not as HEAVY as the demo, but a good cover. And the video was very well produced. I like the...

I assemble an average PC every ~ 5 years. Reason has never asked me to spend much on it.

Re: Rammstein - Jeder lacht (C64 Cover)
Fantastic! Thanks for the info. 2nd question, how’d you make the visuals for your video? Really nice presentation! For this video I used only characters (PETSCII) to draw all frames by hand for the animations in Petmate https://nurpax.github.io/petmate/ . It's like ASCII but for the C64. petmate.jp...

Re: Rammstein - Jeder lacht (C64 Cover)
I have not found anything that was good enough as a plugin. Have you tested inSIDuous? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oHDhebFOiY https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=546729 D. Yes, I've seen other people make music with it. If you don't know the SID chip well enough, it may not soun...

Re: Rammstein - Jeder lacht (C64 Cover)
Thank you. Very nice! What REs or VSTs can do C64 sounds like this? I have not found anything that was good enough as a plugin. I therefore record from the real C64. And the only thing that comes closest is a C64 emulator like VICE, which then runs with ReSID. And to my knowledge, ReSID is not inten...

] Doesnt Bitspeak has the same concept? No, wait...its a different one. Yes, it manipulates your Voice. But there was an interesting concept from 1937 called Voder. The women who could handle it are my personal heroes. This required a 1-year training. :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rAyrmm7vv0

(C64 Cover) Rammstein - Seemann
My new Rammstein cover. I built the instrumental on a C64 with a 6581 chip and recorded it in reason. I created the vocals with SAM. The video is a compilation of various C64 games and elements.

Every cracked software remains a demo on many levels. I see it a little more relaxed and think that this is actually a free promotion.

Re: Behringer System 100
If I had any complaint, it's Behringer's choice of faceplate color. I'm just not feeling those black knobs on grey. Even the sliders just look... eh. Are those LED's on the sliders? If you weren't alone, Behringer would bring out the modules in different colors tomorrow. The slogan "We hear you" ha...

Re: Is Creativity a Finite Resource ?
Creativity can only be guaranteed imho if you take care of your mood. You have to feel comfortable or feel better by creating. In my experience, creativity is not something you have to wait for, you have to constantly create the conditions for it. And I don't mean that you buy a plugin, but rather e...

Re: Tips for Emulating Electric Guitar ?
However I disagree on guitarists wasting their time with an emulation. my point was that it is rather rare. Mainly because it is more difficult to emulate a guitar than to record it when you can. I "wasted" my time on emulating guitars too, but only because I needed a more cheesy synth guitar for s...

Re: Ever do a song then realize it’s someone else’s?
Early this morning I was up and feeling creative as hell. Drums, guitar, synth, keys...flangers, choruses and compressors. A beautiful melody. Oh how happy I was. Then I realised I’d just recorded a disco version of Lullaby by the Cure. Fuck!!! You ever do that? The less complex your song is, the m...

Re: Tips for Emulating Electric Guitar ?
The only way to get realistic sounding guitar is to record a real guitar. I have heard a few ok sounding emulation, but they have always sounded like that, an emulation. The main problem of why emulated guitars sound emulated is that they are made for and operated by people who have no guitar exper...
