At the bottom of the synth there's a bend knob. The manual says this: "Bend: Sets the range when using the pitch bend wheel. 100% is original V1.0 operation." This is from my instrumental electronic metal project Synthetic Flesh. When I made this I didn't own any rack extensions yet so this is all made with native devices from Reason 7.

Here's my entry. This is my second track written for a song challenge. These competitions are great for trying out new synths. This one was a lot harder to figure out than Red70.

Softube Saturation Knob. Love it, can't believe it's for free. It can be everything from very subtle to really distorted. I use it all the time on drums and bass sounds.
Scream is great for a lot of things, but it's very much on or off with that device. Saturation Knob doesn't have to be that obvious.

I use Snakebite from time to time but not so much for leads or pad sounds. I use it more for a distorted, gritty sound, mostly on bass or stuff that are meant to sound broken or screamy.
For big pads or fat leads I would say Antidote is better, at least if you want a cleaner sound.

I really don't understand people who say other DAW's are more open than Reason. Reason has CV, how much more open do you want? There's endless possibilities.
