Terry Crews Old Spice Muscle Music

WTF.. I don't think its possible to move the single muscles of the abdomen like that (my GF is a dancer and she says the same).. Could it be its rather the other way around and he uses the electrodes to contract the muscles? Or maybe its just video fx...? Anyway, funny as heck xD

D.
Press Alt+Return after pasting the URL in Safari, will force Safari to just download it. (Just like Alt+clicking a link does)

Some thunderbold devices have extremely low latency figures. I am wondering how that works in practise. Theres simply more bandwidth and the thunderbolt bus (which is essentially PCI-E) can do DMA so the device can write the data directly to memory. USB causes overhead because a) the CPU has to do ...

Force fullscreen mode for Reason on OSX

Hey, I always waited for Reason to support full screen mode under OSX as I became pretty used to using it for my apps but the Props never delivered.. So I decided to look into a solution and I actually found one. You just need to install "SIMBL" from  http://www.culater.net/software/SIMBL/SIMBL.php ...

Yep, iOS has better audio support, more pro audio developers and more pro apps in general. Face it android fanboys, you are now the underdogs that us mac users were years ago. iOS is the market standard, doesn't matter how many cheap android phones were sold with contracts, app sales and developer s...

up a bit you had 'corrected' me and i was responding to you, saying, in fact i was not incorrect.  but it's alright.  i have something of a grasp on it now.  i have a question though....  can the modes be in key with each other?  for example.... if i play in B 'locrian' (which if i understand corre...

You might be able to use the Zvork SL-1 to do the synth switching if they're all in a combinator. You can use 4 by using the CV inputs on the combi and assigning them to the "Recieve Notes" parameter in the combi programmer. The Zvork SL-1 can be used as a 4-way latching gate, and the outputs can b...

You can handle MIDI with greater flexibility using Remote, but you are correct in saying that you can't select a remote input in the advanced midi panel. Remote scripts use the I/O of your physical hardware, which you need to select yourself. In your case, you would need to select the FCB1010 Input...

AutoTheory RE: Confusing

I'm starting to get it. So if I'm taking C aeolian as the example.... I'm not in A minor. I'm taking the notes of the C major scale and starting from A (the 6th note) as if it was the I. So ABCDEFGA. I.E. A minor. So I'm taking the intervals I found by starting at the 6th note of C major and transp...

You might want to check if your computer gets interrupted by hardware too much, see here: http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/art ... cy-issues/ (This is only needed for windows computers really, Macs are configured properly coming from the factory)

256 vs 512 sample rate

You mean "buffer size", not sample rate. I switch between 128 for recording and 1024 for mixing. The reason you get more DSP headroom when upping the buffer size is that you effectively give the computer more time until a buffer has to be processed. Sure, the computer also has to compute more sample...

Thanks for the input guys! As for CCs, I basically used up all the CC "slots" of the FCB1010 for guitar FX switching already. I can send any CC (including any channel) with a button though, as for the MIDI notes, they always arrive with channel 1. A remote plugin would probably have to use both MIDI...

I understand the way the device works just fine.... What I have trouble with is the 'modes'..... I thought music worked in basic scales and whatnot I.e. major, natural minor, harmonic minor, blues, etc.......I have no idea what all this Lydian or mixolodean nonsense means. I'm a drummer. Modal or "...

I recognize the Neumann USM96 (or a predecessor) dual large condenser (middle left) and the Beyerdynamic M260 dual-ribbon (bottom right). The one in the top right is probably an old AKG D12 dynamic? Bottom left looks like a RCA ribbon, dunno the name though, probably something like 77-DX ;) Top left...

I do think Mainstage would make your life a lot easier for this, and with the new autosampler feature, you could sample what ever Reason synth presets you want to use, provided you don't need modulations and such... but I understand Reason is a bit more stable/ less cpu taxing. Have you thought abo...

@TG: Controlling up and down via MIDI is easy, just use the "Additional Remote Overrides" window to assign next track / previous track to any MIDI message. @QwaizanG: I was thinking about getting BlamSofts "Distributor", then merging the single CV outputs again and using the single pitch bend output...
