Re: Reason Compact 1.0.1 : In-app purchases now working!
But my question is: do people actually use FL Studio Mobile? Any FL Studio peeps here who care to chime in? Full disclosure: I've had it for years but never really got into using it. I own it but don't use it. Not because it's bad, but because I really just don't understand the purpose of trying to...

Re: Reason Compact 1.0.1 : In-app purchases now working!
Reason Compact in its current incarnation for me personally is just a toy like Figure is, but when they ad tracks and scenes and more devices like Gadget has. Oh my god... I love the user interface. Having used Figure, Gadget, Garageband, Auxy (and many more) and comparing it ... They really nailed ...

Re: Reason Compact 1.0.1 : In-app purchases now working!
Just makes sense with the editing ... still limited in comparison to the desktop version. Would really love to see more features, but I guess its a performance tradeoff again Anyway, better than nothing and I'm really looking forward on scenes and full track editing

Re: I wish we had an OPL2 or OPL3 synth
Ok... Since you did not said which RE you tried, i just make a guess for some interesting FM... EXpanse has the biggest freedom for fm imo. Zero is interesting too, especially if you downsample it on the back. Send something through Ammo and you get new results. Use a fm capable filter like PMS. An...

And they are so good to REndomize ... Love them for the price tag.
I'd be very interested in a collab/feature with Skrock to offer a discount for owners of his products, as they are a good fit for my tool.

No, unfortunately, it's not an easy task. I could just give you some entry pointers, as I'm also not a remote codec specialist and don't have the musings to implement this. You can register as a remote codec developer to get documentation for the remote codec development.

Re: Nektar Impact LX61+
I've been looking into this on my own a year ago, because I have the impact 49, but you have to rewrite the codec for this to work. And I didn't have the time and muse to do it. Nowadays I have more knowledge of how a codec works, but still no musings to write my own. What you have to do is define a...

I would already be more modular, if it had less artificial restrictions. or to say more remotable items on the devices.

Re: Idea for 2D-mixing
I've spent 4 years with creating 3D effects that work for everyone. Had a quite good idea, that I could have turned into a RE, but since I don't have money to run a company, let alone start one, that won't happen. I can, however make an 'okay' combinator with Reason's tools, so I might do that. Sha...

Some good and some bad news. Bad news ... I got some distraction. Good news... Here is the result of it:
A sneak peak of a prototype for my RePlay codec companion app for iOS and Android. In addition to the remote infos, we would need screenshots of all the devices.

And you could totally run the complete thing on an embedded controller running python, maybe even other implementations of python. Currently I'm using rtmidi which is cross platform binding running on macos, windows and linux. So I'm pretty sure this will also run on embedded devices, but I you also...

I still believe that individual AD, DA converters, Pre-Amps, individual Amps are the best way. Also looking for some. I just posted my own question about audio interfaces here https://forum.reasontalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7503457&start=25 I've also been thinking about individual solutions, but ...

Re: What is your favorite wav to mp3 converter?
Btw. I'm using ffmpeg for this. For me, that's the easiest way of doing conversions or containings. On windows it's a bit of a mess to have ffmpeg compiling with libfdk_acc. Glad I'm using it on macos. ffmpeg -i input.aac -codec: copy output.m4a ffmpeg -i input.wav -c:a libfdk_aac -b:a 128k output.m...

Re: What is your favorite wav to mp3 converter?
I have read and commented on this topic more than one time. Is it really still legit to use mp3 on new output? There are so many better options these days. People still use mp3 nowadays? I really don't understand it. Probably they are not aware of the better options. So I guess you use the mp3 conv...

Gating ...
and Personally I don't see a big difference between gating and tremolo, just how they work. Gating by using a threshold and tremolo by using an lfo. PWM with a square wave LFO on the audio source can do the same.
