Re: what sounds good

So... you broaden your spectrum of things to listen to and at the same time learn about the sound you don't want to incorporate into your own stuff, am I getting this right? Hmm. Sounds logical. yes. and adding more "normal" stuff to the listening list. just recent music I like. I think that's soun...

what sounds good

what sounds good is a comparison to a norm. the norm is vaque, but it's a balance. what sounds good is very subjective. it's what we consider as sounding normal. it's sound sanity. I have a reference playlist for stuff I think sounds good. but I recently found out that maybe using a yearly playlist ...

Re: Question:: I Have Noise on my Big Meter, From Where?

it's interesting to measure the noise of interfaces this way although I think the differences between interfaces are extremely small. my Focusrite is around -90 db with inputs on instrument level for my guitars. excellent.

Re: Question:: I Have Noise on my Big Meter, From Where?

yes, these are you inputs on your soundcard using the pre-amps. if you put the gain of your pre-amps lower, the noise should be lower to. and changing inputs from instrument level to line levels makes it lower as well.

since you're not using the inputs this noise will not be routed to your outputs/

Re: Yet Another Free Logic Update

looks like a great total package. probably my first choice when I would start all over again. but for me for many years Reason and Ableton Live are the things I keep using. I have bought so many software DAWs and lost way too much money with it. it is silly :D

Re: Hardware vs Software

I was playing on a Fender Twin Reverb this week. Weigts a ton. Sounds great but after one hour sound started to change. Hate that. Hum going on. Hate. I prefer software. Total control and super sound.

Re: Kuassa's Matchlock RE is released

Here's my review, including sound examples: https://melodiefabriek.com/blog/kuassa-matchlock-review/ Marco. Help me out here if you will. I’ve been checking out Dimi’s Matchlock tones then substituting Matchlock with Vermillion and turning up the treble which results in a more agreeable sound to my...

Haha. The world is split into two types of people. Those who have RE-2A and those who don’t :).

Re: Redundant musician. The future is now.

yes, right. the space between the notes are very important. I always think that timing is a major thing. the main thing when I am playing guitar or bass. even playing bad notes doesn't suck as much as bad timing imo :D I agree 100%. Regarding bad notes, this quote says it all: "It's not the note yo...

Re: Redundant musician. The future is now.

music is like making a meal, putting the ingredients in. although I still love to bang on my guitars, bass, and sing. some of that energy can't be done otherwise. it's human energy. I love also the minimal, the sound design type of stuff. it all sounds like music to me. Good analogy. I always think...

The VST version I bought. It's great. Only weird thing: the Deluxe cabs are include but not as amp. The Deluxe is the most well known and used Fender.
I've got a Fender Deluxe and the thing plays itself. Great amp :)
Cool :D
