It's a very usefull and efficient tool, very precise too. It's ok about the cpu but but not light as the frg for example. No lack of controls, Highly recommended...
But remember you can do quite the same with ssl comp and the hp lp filter (less precise imo)

i didn't understand that!! I tried to directly plug M/S output to channels mixs....Shame on mejam-s wrote:but you simply plug your mid and side processing chains in between the M/S out and M/S in jacks.

Re: RE181 Mid/Side Audio Converter, How to connect it?
thx for the answer, but i dont get it sorry. How to make the connections to process independently the side and the mid signal and obtain a stereo result ? i have always a mono weird result with all my routings testing. I always use 'Waves Center' in pro tools and 'Stereo Splitter' in reason with no ...

RE181 Mid/Side Audio Converter, How to connect it?
Hey guys! I'm confused about the routing with this device. I want to separate the mid signal and the side signal from a stereo source, there's a mono output for the mid ok i get it, but i didn't understand why there's only a mono output for the side. i tried every kind of routing to obtain a proper ...

Re: The best compressor.
Re-2A best musical comp on every kind of signals (he's the king for vocals btw). Big character and always great results instantly.
FRG great efficient comp for regular uses (and sidechain) because it's very cpu friendly and zero latency. No color or special character on this one

Yes lush is IMO one of the best vst synth. But even in vst/au format it's a cpu hog... I can't imagine in RE format... Omgpjeudy wrote:I hope that D16 finds success with there first RE device...because to me there other device LUSH is the cream of the crop *to me* I freaking LOoove that synth!!!

Re: DSP when using Driver and FM4 synths
The same here. Really liked both synths (specially Driver) but i didn't buy because of it... My two first criterias when i trial RE are latency (now only buy 0 latency RE) and cpu usage. The RE format is not good about the cpu needed compared to the other formats for the same (or better) results We ...

Re: Reason 8.3 Zoom into clip needs to be better !
Totally agree with djeudy
I expected that the zoom function will work as he described it. Bad move from props imo
Actually this is how it works in Pro tools (With the shortcut "E") and it's totally logic for me at least (and a lot of users i guess)

Is there any way for Kong to trigger NNXT keys??
You don't need to care about the rpg8 i wil not explain all the routings (too long, complicated). Just play with your controller directly in the track of the combinator. If you want to change what note is send from your controller (i assume it's already well configured by the factory settings) you w...

Is there any way for Kong to trigger NNXT keys??
Hey Puckboy2000
Assign to good notes to each pad of your controller with its own editor (i assume it's already done), and plug your controller directly in the combinator (not on the kong)

GClip Waveshaping Clipper in the shop!
Yes it's a very usefull tool i will buy it! It's sounds great But why the rack is soo big? Imo There's too much useless space on the bottom of the gui (even above actually) It could be cool to have cv inputs at rear And.... Please, the most important: add a output gain, it's absolutely indispensable...

Same here!! It's a cpu hogpropsiman wrote:I pass because FM4 is a CPU hog.
I have PX7 for FM synthesis and its much more efficient and sounded very good too. If I need a more rough or distorted sound like FM4 there are enough choices in Reason to get it.
