Re: Propellerheads PolyStep Sequencer
Nice. Be careful with posting stuff like that, you'll be no longer considered a real musician by some around here ;) "A KID COULD DO THAT!" Thanks. Maybe we should introduce a tag "with kind help of players and no real musicians where harmed" when uploading it to soundcloud :puf_bigsmile: Everyone ...

Re: difference between "reason sounds" and the "factory sound bank"?
Ok, after investigating, it looks like Reasons Sounds has some patches that are not in Factory Sounds (mostly combinators), but it seems impossible to tell which are new. They all have the same last modified date (when the refill was packed I assume), so new patches are mixed in with all the old on...

Re: PSA: If you're a beta tester, your personal data connected to your PH account is visible to the developer.
Because I was adressed with my real name by someone who's beta I tested. Never told him. (Again, this was via PM and no damage done, would have told him if he asked). And I'm not the only one who made the experience (different user with different dev). Did you send the dev an email from an account ...

Basically some of the data the 'Reason Sounds' patches need (eg samples) is located in the FSB and Orkester refills.

Re: Unsaved changes when nothing has changed
Another thing that can cause this is midi 'noise' coming from a controller, such as caused by a dirty pot or some such. I'm not saying that is your problem but I've certainly run into it before when my M-Audio Oxygen used to issue uncommanded data, i.e the knobs would fluctuate without me touching ...

I see a moaning thread and I see the video the thread refers to and I'm not the slightest impressed at all as I'm using Reason and proudly so. Best thread evah!!!
I'm loving the self-honesty going on.
Of course I've never mistakenly purchased a RE that I didn't use. Nope, I bought them on purpose.

Re: So is it ok to only use Reason to export audio?
If you have to ask others if your Reason exported audio is of a 'worse' quality than that exported from a another DAW or application I'd say you don't need to worry about it. Dithering is only required when reducing bit depth say from 24 bit to 16 bit, the difference between dithering algorithms or ...

Ain't it great, Studio One, Reason and Windows just got updated and everything is working well here? I like working in Reason, in fact I still do most creative stuff, writing, arranging and actual music making within Reason and I also like working with Studio One as that's strong in many areas too, ...

Hui...just noticed that the original devices are quite pricy and cost between 1000 and 3500 bucks. For some experimentation you can also try this one: https://valhalladsp.com/shop/delay/valhalla-freq-echo/ The guy who wrote this plugin has published some source code parts with the math behind frequ...

Re: Reason Drum Kits - worth it if you've got the Refill?
I got it despite having the ReFill. I love the sample set and I made some pretty drawn out combi's for it. However I love it wrapped up as an IDT RE. It's almost like the sample set was meant to be presented this way at the outset. As has already been mentioned there was/is a hefty discount for prev...

Re: The License Incident....*WARNING* Dont do this...what I did....
That permanent five time limit is rather suspect for sure. It’s unfair if you are a paying customer. Lets say over the course of 5 to 10 years you are unfortunate and suffer from a series catastrophes leading to you reporting your computer as stolen. For example you have SSD failure occur twice, a ...

They never told me t here was a limit to how many times you can report the computer as "lost". So I said ok, that sucks...what do I do now? They said 'we will send you an ignition key', and I thanked them...now that's great customer support. They sent you an ignition key gratis because they couldn'...

... I was wondering if such EQs with pre-defined values on the knobs are good for ANY type of music, or were they just made for more "traditional" music styles like rock, jazz, classical, etc.? ... The pre-defined values on this and many console style EQ's make it quicker and easier to balance out ...

I can't replicate it.
Closest I get is something about 'Summer Lovin' and a few hippies end up squatting in the rack. Who among us doesn't get that though?
