Re: Mid/Side Mastering
Mid Side just means the mono is common L/R info and stereo is the separate L/R info. Had a much longer and in depth post, but this forum sucks on a mobile device and started to slow down the longer my post got. Kicks typically are mono, can see how you might want the click to be stereo, maybe pre f...

Re: Reason 9.5.1 now available!
OT about HT, does Reason look at actual parallel channels as a serial chain because the parallel output on mixer channel is feeding the input of the parallel channel? So if you have an output group for your drums and create a bunch of parallel channels for the sub group does each parallel channel ac...

General 9.5.1 performance survey poll
Please answer this poll to help others and Propellerhead know how the new 9.5.1 with HT is working for you.
Feel free to post your platform OS and hardware specs to help narrow down any issues. Year of model, clock speed, processor type, physical cores and virtual cores are good things to mention.

Re: Reason 9.5.1 now available!
This update is scary and unsettling. Too worried to update myself after reading this thread. How is it possible that so many people are reporting worse performance with an optimization update? Understanding what's been said about how HT works, how are some people getting better performance and some ...

Re: Reason 9.5.1 now available!
I am still seeing the "VST Windows get keyboard focus" or whatever the option is called. In another topic, it was noted that this was NOT supposed to be seen for MacOS users, and we can't click/unclick that option anyway. Noticed this too. Didn't know we're not suppose to see this? Why wouldn't Mac...

Not sure who else has this problem. This new site is slow and my mobile device gets extremely hot when using the new forum. Besides the new looks, I find the forum to be slower now.

Re: Neutron Advanced
Hey guys, Neutron Advanced opens surround version of the VST by default in 9.5, and is verrrrry taxing on CPU. Anybody with the same experience ? Ozone is very heavy on CPU and I suspect that Neutron will be also a " stone" when used in several channels. I suggest to use it with all bounced channel...

Re: Waves SSL-E $29
Did you buy anything waves from audio deluxe? How long does it take to get the license sent? That's the reason I didn't buy from them when I pay I want the plugin now. Not sweating a $9 savings. So you'd recommend to buy from waves directly? Still on the fence about the wup. Tho, some of these deal...

Re: Waves SSL-E $29
I've taken advantage of a lot of these crazy Waves sales lately and I have this bad feeling they're going to screw us later. BY THE WAY: use code DK39S at audio deluxe and get this for $21.90. ABSOLUTE 100% NO BRAINER Did you buy anything waves from audio deluxe? How long does it take to get the li...

Re: Waves SSL-E $29
Btw, what's with this waves upgrade plan? If you buy a few cool plugins on sale at the moment do they got you by the balls with upgrade annual fees? I looked into it, but don't understand the benefits? Two things are effected: After the year is up you will have to renew if you want to sell somethin...

Re: iZotope Products?
I have the Music Production Bundle 2 and it's totally unusable on Reason compared to Cubase 9. For totally unusuable i mean 5 instance of neutron, totally kill the machine, while on cubase i don't hear a glitch. It's not a fair comparison because i'm comparing a Vst 2.4 (in Reason) to a Vst3 (in Cu...

Re: iZotope Products?
Hey Wendy, what are your machine specs? I asked this in the Neutron thread also. Kinda concerned about how users reported some Neutron issues. You said something about the standard 2 channel version not working? On topic of Ozone 7, what about setting a mastering session up in Reason, like exportin...

Re: iZotope Products?
I have Ozone 7 Advanced which I find to be an amazing set of tools. I'm not on Reason 9.5 yet, so I also run Ozone in standalone and probably will continue to do the same even after upgrading to 9.5. Part will be due to habit and part because I find the separation of mixing and mastering to be bene...

Re: Neutron Advanced
I have Neutron (regular version) and it shows a little warning triangle with exclamation in the center of the meters reminding me that I can only have 5 channel surround sound with he Advanced version. With your report, now I don't feel so left out, as it works fine. Does this mean the standard 2 c...

I love Ozone 7, although I'm only using it standalone after making a track to avoid CPU issues. I also got Neutron, and from what I can tell, it's great, however it's pretty much unusable for me, since by nature u need one on every bus channel, which is not doable for me with my current rig. I hope...

This is still at the $29 price. What's the point of having a flash sale when the price stays the same afterwards. Not complaining, just the marketing hype makes people jump at the chance to buy.
