Re: How: Selig Gain on every track
if it was two or more extra rack extensions everytime then you'd save it all into a combinator patch and just open that instead but for one single RE? no don't bother imo

When a key is released, the keyboard can measure how fast the performer allows the key to spring back up, and insert the value into the resulting note off message. What the receiv...

Re: Difference between CV Player Tap and MIDI-CV Converter
ah no i guess the midi-cv converter has multiple channels itself and can therefore send poly cv signal to multiple places at once, each of those channels can be muted individually from the main midi-cv player.

Re: Difference between CV Player Tap and MIDI-CV Converter
cv player tap converts polyphonic midi date to monophonic cv data by outputting each note in a separate channel
midi-cv converter uses the (Blamsoft method?) of polyphonic cv to output all note data over just one channel. i dont use midi-cv in mono mode so i cant speak to how that works

Re: Odd Time Signatures - Do you use ?
i compose in the rack and avoid the sequencer window as much as possible. have you ever tried composing a whole track in 3/4 or 6/8 ? these time signatures are very common and have great musicality and are possibly more accessible than a 5/ or 7/

Re: REs you’ve bought and never used.
ReSpire for me too although i like the sound and if i could get audio input i would use those filters a lot more but the good tools for generating movement are tucked away in the corner and hidden behind tabs so it becomes a slow and deflating process to compose with

i have been following along with the thread, and have updated to 1.0.0d5 and can confirm that i have not had a crash since my first three on day 1. i have been testing a few different things such as the follower cv out and parameter automation and have not found any problems worth reporting

Re: What was your first ever DAW?
I started recording and editing sounds with soundforge in the 90's when it was still a sonic foundry product and using vegas for its multitrack to score out full songs. the first DAW i used would have been fruity loops and only really used it as a drum machine and took recordings from it back into s...
