Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)

All of them just was motivated to take on a new challenge You know this is just another way of saying you're not "satisfied" with what's out there, right? That's why you try to do something new and take things further because you believe that something can be done better or in a way that has never ...

Oh, we get to see it! I like it, RS good at making it approachable and user friendly but still many options/buttons. Modelling synth is nice.
Look forward giving it a try in May.

Yes to curved automations in the sequencer would make lot of sense, using the sequencer more creatively like an instrument.

Re: Issues with Reason 10.2 and small resolutions (1366X768 and lower)

I hope PH will gradually upgrade och deepen the tutorial-part, as I find it too basic now. Would love to have more advanced and more tips and tricks. As it is optional, I find it a good addition, sometimes one just play aruond to try different approaches and functions, and then it would be great to ...

Re: May Madness is on!

Any word on the "Deja Vu" delay?
Remember it was indeed nice to trial it but too long ago, but cannot grasp if it was essential.
Some have written that the pitch-changer is very high quality. Is that still the case,
is it better than anything else in R10 or RE with pitch-adjustments?

Re: Chord Detector Player

I'd like to add anothe suggestion to the delay mentioned here. It would be also cool if the notes progression could be stored in maybe the bottom portion of the visualizer, like Cm1+D3+Fm1+etc , like it had a small memory buffer, and maybe a stored loop cv out to play that back separtedly, it would...

Re: Chord Detector Player

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand the educational bit in it and that it can be tricky to write all of them different. Have seen it displayed CM7 in some places (but gets too similar to Cm7). I prefer Cmaj7. Not the biggest issue though. But give it a thought in the longer run, if wanting to de...

Re: Chord Detector Player

Two suggestion that would make it more user friendly from my own experience. 1) To shorten the chord names as much as possible on the display, to be simular to the ones that are displayed in "Scales & Chords". Instead of "C minor 7", just to display "Cm7", "C7" instead of "C dominant 7" etc. For me,...

Re: Reason 10 Intro EUR79 / USD99

It looks as if they have done the limitations in a good thought out way. I am glad to have the full version, but would I start out now, comparing DAWs, this Intro version is spot on, to try out the Reason environment, or why not as a second DAW. There is hope at the horizon with needed moves like th...

Re: Upcoming RE: Softphonic's WIRE Eclectic Grand

I am glad that Softphonics are making new RE, it is quality stuff. There is too little of instruments in the RE format so it gives hope to see developers that are making the Reason environment richer. Have not had time yet to try out the previous ones yet, but will soon and when it comes to good RE ...

Re: Cut-off midi notes?

I found that the dilemma was that I had too many added "Control keyboard" (in "Preferences") that had earlier been registered to same midi-port on my interface. So I will keep an eye on that from now on, so that I delete those not in use or having a (!) besides them, so that there will be no contrad...

Re: Softube 'Weiss DS1-MK3' "The gold-standard in mastering dynamics"

The DS1-MK3 is what many of the top mastering engineers use, but for me to use that tool it would be like trying to drive a professional race car! Good comparison! Merly by looking at the DS1-MK3, I can really imagine myself dialing the mix or master right down the ditch at those late hours! Waking...

Softube 'Weiss DS1-MK3' "The gold-standard in mastering dynamics"

Softube just released two new (old) emulations for Mastering. One more advanced for €499 and then one maximizer for €179. How much hype is this about mastering units? How far better is this compared to what we already have? Will download a demo some days ahead but have anyone tried the original unit...

Re: Cut-off midi notes?

I see, but I am on Mac (Sierra) and in Logic the same midi-keyboards has no issues at all. So perhaps there is something with Reason on OSX. I thought this was a thing of the past and that new Reason would have filtered out such disturbances. Also same happens when using sustain pedals, that Reason ...

I like the mixer and the rack. Have a lot more to desire when it comes to sequencer and midi functionality. It really needs an upgrade at that field.
