The nexus of a great interface is how solid its driver is, across decades of development. This reflects my experience from a few years ago... after starting to get occasional glitches and dropouts with my older generation Focusrite I upgraded to RME and have had zero issues since, with multiple DAW...

I just made this video for an original song using DALL-E for still image generation. It's DIY-ish, but nevertheless demonstrates how AI art will be useful for people like me, inept at graphic art, to express ideas visually.

I find every song I write goes through a tortuous soap opera of giddy anticipation, love, betrayal, resentment, hope, and reconciliation. Since I expect it, I just work through the 'you suck!' stages until my love returns.

I really like the pitch editor inside Reason's sequencer, but in using Reaper, Melodyne 5 is way ahead.

That's been my experience with Logic, too. I prefer Reason's pitch editor over Logic's native 'flex' tools, but IMO Melodyne is in a different class of excellence.

Nice job! I found the vocal mix pretty good with headphones. It doesn't need a lot given the cultural strength of the original, giving your remix enough context it need only 'suggest' the original to succeed.

Convincing argument for Logic. I'm gonna have to move on since Reason is obviously not going to accommodate my old school workflow, electro mechanical instruments and human players.
