Re: Would you like to see Linux version of Reason?
I have been asking for this for 20 years. Reason and some of my other DAW software is the only reason why I have a windows computer. Studio One now has a Linux software that is in beta, All I need now is for a Linux version of Reason, Cubase/Nuendo. Bitwig already has a Linux client which runs smoot...

Re: New Roadmap (December 2022)
I get the feeling that Reason Studios is cooking up something big. I consistently use different DAW software with Reason being my main music writing tool. They have been doing consistent updates through the year but I get the feeling that they have something special coming in 2024. There are many li...

I rather like the companion tool for managing reason and plugins. This is how most other software I have is managed.

Re: The Most Realistic orchestral sound( bar vst) for reason .
StringWERK is pretty much the original Session Strings with added key-switches for articulations. Session Strings 2 was just recently released for the same price so I'd skip StringWERK altogether. If your not willing to pay 89 euro, then your choices are limited. The better stuff costs a bit more t...

I have the same issue but for me it has to be MS windows 11 and the new 37 inch monitor I purchased a few months back. on the 24 inch monitor everything was scaled correctly, immediately after installing the new monitor bam small VST. This only happens in a few devices, Kontakt is ok on my computer....

Re: Playing with Objekt - New Tonicmint Player?
I will likely buy it. Reason Players are key to all music I make. I may not use all of them all the time but at least one or two are present in everything I do. I am a sucker for rhythm devices that make my life easier.

Didn't think it was this but I will buy it day one as usual. This may be one of the more useful devices they have created and will displace some other tools that I have. That analyze feature looks intriguing, I wonder if you will be able to sample sounds and create your own models if that makes sense.

audio sequencing to video. This feature alone would allow me to drop one of the other DAW software I use.
Updates to the players such as dragging chords from the chord player.
general updates to everything.
Some new features using A.I.

Re: the new Instrument Rack is coming in May
Since A.I has taken over my place of work, I am going to guess a synth that uses A.I to sound like real world instruments that can morph between sounds. OK I stole some of that from my current VST addiction Soundpaint.20. Also the Reason synth will combine audio modeling with a standard synth. Since...

Re: the new Instrument Rack is coming in May
Whatever it is I am most likely going to purchase it. One I don't mind spending money on things I love and two the money I spend on this will help make Reason 13 be better. I maybe in the minority but I generally do like everything the Reason Studios releases. Some things were replaced with VST devi...

Re: Image Line Acquires UVI
I often wonder when a great consolidation is coming to the DAW and plugin makers. I see new A.I tools coming in the near future will decimate those not embracing A.I. Soon we will be able to train a A.I to turn your crummy piano playing into a exquisite Thelonious Monk piano solo. Training a A.I to ...

Re: Who would you prefer to acquire Reason Studios?
This is stupid. But If I had to pick I would want Reason Studios to merge with another European music operation. Reason Studios (Propellerhead) has been the thing I have consistently for 22 years. I was single working my first I.T job in the year 2000 when I was introduced to reason 1.0. Met my wife...

Thanks for showing me this I thought I was going to be good and not buy anything else. I love my SWAM Sax which can sound very good. You do have to do a bunch of work if you don't have the proper hardware which I don't. This sounds like they cracked the code for sample libraries legato and realism. ...

Re: Reason rack anyone ?
I use the reason rack in Studio one 6, Nuendo 12 and bitwig. I do get annoyed with not being able to easily extract the Reason player midi directly into the sequencer. Each DAW has a slightly different way of routing the RRP for Players midi data output. It works but is now where near the ease of us...

I want VST3 as much as the next guy but do want the Props to do something amazing with it in reason. If it doesn't come until reason 13 I can live with that. This year I have purchased many VST tools which most were VST3 only. That was not intentional I was not looking at the fine print. They work w...

Anyone have an idea about when VST3 will be coming to Reason? Over this past year I have purchased many plugins that now only run as VST3 only. Reason and a few other DAW programs are the reason I still have Windows installed. I will never spend money on apple products.
