Has anybody heard of any Reason 10 rumors?

Reason 9 is pretty nice. Not sure where they can go from here just shy of giving us a A.I backing band.

Yeah, if you separate your composition, arrangement and mixing processes nothing is keeping you from mixing and matching everything thats available to you. I mostly use Reason as a synth rack and "sample experimentation station", Logic for mixing and some hi-profile native instruments for orchestra...

I may be late to this but I started with reason 1.0 and just in 2016 started using another DAW to take advantage of VST instruments. For compelling VST sound libraries dropping $300.00, $400.00 & $500.00 on a library may not be ideal for the current Reason but for sounds your lacking would be worth ...
