Re: new Reason Studios Player: Pattern Mutator
I like the idea of that new player and I think I will bu this one day, because I love players in Reason. Hope it will be on sale for XMAS :-). But I have to say, that I would much more appreciate that kind of mutating with a pattern in the sequencer. Maybe there is drag and drop working to drag a m...

Re: Terminal Master effect in the deals
I've got it and I like it a lot, the only thing I would really like would be a global dry/wet knob, but you can easily get around that limitation in various ways (most simply by just using it as a send effect). MrFigg raises a relevant point about "how many of those effects have you got already", bu...

Re: advantages of serum over Europa?
I love 'em both so I don't wanna "trash talk Europa", but a few things that come to mind are... The biggest difference is that Serum has a full wavetable editor built in to it: You can import a sample just like with Europa, but you can then edit the resultant wavetable (add/delete frames, move them ...

Re: Frustrated over a simple question/problem
I think what you wanna do might be very easy, just not using the specific tools you mentioned. I'm assuming you've got some loops in an audio format (ie wav/aiff/mp3) and you wanna timestretch/pitch-correct them so they can play in the same track - yeah? .... if so then:- drag and drop the audio fil...

Re: Let's build a DOOM Instrument in Reason!
I watched that GDC video all the way through - it's very inspiring. Like a lot of people I too can't use the OP's combinator cuz I lack some of the RE's - but honestly people it doesn't matter: if you watch the first half of that video he explains how to make some truly awesome bass sounds, essentia...

Re: More CV --> direct control of parameters
Might be a stupid question, but is it possible for a Player to record CV as Velocity (or other suitable data) by just converting it? It should be possible to record it as Gate or Note, but i am not sure if the resolution is good enough. I can't think how to do that off the top of my head, but there...

Re: More CV --> direct control of parameters
Oh wow - I knew I could control combi knobs via CV, but I didn't realise I could record it as automation ... cool! OK - I just tried it out and I couldn't get that to work. I mean I can record combi-knob movements made by hand BUT that doesn't seem to include the added values coming in through the ...

Re: More CV --> direct control of parameters
Something I would really like to see from a device like this would be the ability to convert CV to automation and record it into an automation lane. This way I could record a bunch of fancy LFO patterns produced by CV RE's and then chop up the parts and sequence them really easily. I've done someth...

Re: KRON CV Toolbox version 1.2 in the shop (new features and on sale)!
This RE has me terrified :o There's no need to be afraid! I've been using this RE a lot for a long time now and I still don't know everything it can do, but that hasn't stopped me getting a lot out of the device. Seriously this is a device that just keeps on giving: the more time you put into it th...

+1 for the PSDN from me https://shop.propellerheads.se/rack-extension/psdn-cv-envelope-generator/ I'm beta testing the 2.0 version right now (which will be free to existing users) and it's a fantastic upgrade with a gfx display for visual feedback and loads of other goodies ... you can see it here.....

Re: KRON has landed in the shop!
I just could not figure out, how to trigger the envelope. The easiest way is probably to plug a CV gate signal into the back in the "envelope" section at the top-right. But you can do it from the front like so... In the "Gates" section click on the top "source" widget (blank black text box) and sel...

Re: KRON has landed in the shop!
I was beta testing this device for a while and I just wanna chip in to say: I absolutely LOVE it! I would advise anyone who likes to mess around at the back of the rack to trial this device. Personally I believe that Reason needs more devices like this in order to truly fulfil the potential and prom...

I'll second those ideas.
Plus a nice simple one I'd like: Could "Note Echo" modify the length of echo'd notes in the same way it modifies the velocity?

lots of love and big hugs for the Props... ...I thought that was necessary to counteract all the negativity on this thread. Re: BUG: ReGroove won't accept timings at 120 ticks
I am getting the same results as you, perfectly changed timing to 120 ticks. not sure what I repeatedly have done wrong. Yeah grooves can get confusing if you follow them too far down the rabbit hole. I'm not sure what your programing experience is like but I was programer in a previous life and I ...

Re: BUG: ReGroove won't accept timings at 120 ticks
yeah I tried your example and it doesn't change the clip ... BUT .... I made my own groove with notes on every 16'th at 120 ticks, applied it and it worked. I also tried a groove with a single note at 1.1.3.120 and that also worked. I'm not sure how you made your groove because you didn't include th...

Re: BUG: ReGroove won't accept timings at 120 ticks
Let's say I have a Groove Patch which only contains ONE note at 1.1.2.120. When I want to apply this to a MIDI clip which has a note at 1.1.2.119 it should move it to 1.1.2.120. It should, but it won't do that. In Ableton Live it will do that. This isn't true: Reason will apply the groove exactly a...

Re: BUG: ReGroove won't accept timings at 120 ticks
ReGroove can change any notes, so long as those notes are within the effective area of at least 1 note in the groove. In your example you where using a groove whose notes had disjoint effective areas - ie they didn't overlap: If you try to make a groove from perfectly quantised 16'th notes then ther...

Re: BUG: ReGroove won't accept timings at 120 ticks
it's not a bug - I thought it was when I first saw it happen. They allude to this in the documentation about making your own grooves when they say "try to use as many 16'th notes as possible".... which doesn't really explain what's going on very well! Each note in the groove, when applied to a part,...
