Definitely CV routing. I used to suck at mixing and mastering until I started to understand the small things about mixing. Now I think that I understand the process enough to where I can release commercial projects and feel proud of them.

9.5 with VST support for me. Opened up a whole new whole of production for me even though I used virtual instruments prior to 9.5 with ProTools (not necessarily VSTs but whatever). But once Reason opened up VSTs, my productivity skyrocketed.

Dragging new devices into the rack is indeed very risky. If you're patient and haven't saved for a while you can sometimes wait it out though.

I noticed this too but thought it was my computer just getting slow

The update seems to have fixed an issue I had with opening up one of my favorite EQs which previously caused Reason to conduct a light show and crash. Rack scrolling is improved, I definitely notice that. Good update!

He's on Twitch and only uses Reason as his main DAW for at least the past year

Anybody going to do Reason benchmarks or are you waiting for M1 compatibility?
I'd love to see a video showing real world scenarios and also trying to bottleneck the system with plugins.

Some fun news..the transport bar bug prior to this update made me switch to the light default skin which I haven't used in years. It's kinda enjoyable. Its always good to switch things up a little from time to time.

Now I don't even want to go to the dark skin..maybe I will in a few years

Having issues with Crave EQ2 (my favorite EQ). ATM, its the only plugin that I use that crashes Reason. Almost every time I close the VST window, the entire program turns into a light show and flashes uncontrollably.
