Vps Avenger Aux outputs in reason?
Hi.
In Avenger I can assign different Aux outputs to drum parts but how do I use these in reason. I tried the outputs on back of vps into mix channel but get no signal?
Thanks

Phil Speiser The_Pattern anyone tried it?
Hi all. I was looking at RE Umpf Club drums, but held off. I recently came across a VST plugin by Phil Speiser, The_Pattern https://philspeiser.com/product/the_pattern/ It looks interesting and the samples sound very nice, same price as RE. This is for EDM music. Have any of you tried Phil Speiser T...

Tempo Tab cropping audio track?
Hi
I have an audio music track and want to sync Reasons tempo to it. I use the Tap Tempo but all it does it crops my audio track at the beginning. I have of course turned off time stretch, and have manually cropped the audio track to start on the beat, is this function broken?
Thanks, Dan

Re: Holidays are Approaching so Here's an Omnisphere 2 Overview
Omnisphere 2 in Reason can choke on some patches, but they are huge. When I initialy installed it there was alot of lag, but this was down to not having the sound lib on its own HD which is the way it should be done for any such synth with any DAW. I find most patches are fine, and can stack 10 Omni...

Re: Vengeance Sound's VPS Avenger is simply *THE BEST* VST synth on the market IMHO
Vengeance VPS looks very feature packed, so much so that during watching the videos on it I just thought to myself, "No, its just too much, its overload and would take me way to long to get to use half of that" Iv flicked through most of the replies to this thread and see little mentioned of Spire, ...

Re: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions
Hi I purchased it from Music Matter and got it next day, very good service and price. It took about 2 hours to install on a fresh formatted HHD. Hey Dan, so now that you've spent some months with Omnisphere 2 (and fixed your original performance problems), what's the verdict? I'm still batting arou...

Re: Reason 10 announced!
Propellerhead has created a whip for their own back by releasing VST support too early. If VST support was included as part of R10 then I think the tone would be a bit better, but do they not understand that their users expect a new version to included "a new version of Reason" What Reason 10 looks ...

Re: Reason 10 announced!
Im writing this after the first 10 min of reviewing the video so my comments are based off that. Im a little confused to say the least. Reason just got VST, everybody goes out to get the latest VST synths to fill their sound literary, then Reason 10 is focusing on synths? I own Synchronous, and Radi...

Re: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions
Nice to see low DSP bar with idle Ominisphere VSTs. Can you record some notes playing in each Omnisphere track and report the DSP load for comparison? That was a screen shot taken while it was playing. For them patches I used it didnt push the DSP higher than that, even when they where all fully pl...

Re: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions
So if I understand this correctly, do not plug a USB 2.0 audio interface into a USB 3.0 port? Hi. Thats just the thing. My Saffire is a USB 1 version, and in the past I had issues with using a USB3 port for a SUB 1 device, but it was plugging this into a USB 3 device that sorted it. I had also upda...

Re: Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions
Update: Day 2 Been in touch with Spectrasonics which has been very helpfull and fast to respond, but it was this morning that I had a few findings. While my system seems fine, and I can load loads of VST instruments and alike up, Omnisphere was pushing the system harder than normal, but it seemed to...

Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 First Impressions
Hi I purchased it from Music Matter and got it next day, very good service and price. It took about 2 hours to install on a fresh formatted HHD. Iv got a 6 core 5930k processor at 4.5ghz, and 32gb of ram, 6gb graphics, and a Focusrite USB 6 interface. Dependant of the patch it can take around half t...

Re: spectrasonics omnisphere 2 how hungry is it?
Thanks. I noticed in a few videos that my Novation sl mk2 keyboard is used to control this synth, I hope that there isnt any limitations that me using Reason may stop this from working such as there being no automap if it needs it? Dan I don't know if I would count on that working in Reason. I thin...

Re: spectrasonics omnisphere 2 how hungry is it?
You guys are making me envious. I had setup to buy it second hand from a seller at KVR, he supposedly put in for the license transfer... and then disappeared. Very poor show (thanks for nothing @SoullessGemini)! :puf_bigsmile: If I ever come across it for a deal, I may definitely jump on it, ...

intel i7-4930k cpu &3.40 ghz ram 16.0 gb; 6 dual cores Using a low cpu patch, I was able to open up 26 running instances before the cpu shows the red bar. spectrasonics omnisphere 2 how hungry is it?
Hi. Im thinking of getting spectrasonics omnisphere 2, it sounds great, but do wonder how resource hungry it is, and how many will I be able to add to the rack before my system comes to a halt. I have noted that the latest version of reason is not as good regarding resourceful in the CPU usage, not ...

Re: I won't buy another Waves plugin until they sort out copy protection
Iv purchased 2 plugins from wave, and find their licence protection system fine. If you want real problems get a Softube VST. Your need 3 pieces of software to install which all need registration and account linking. It took me ages to just get a demo working.

Re: Big Doubt!! Respire? O Spire original Vst?
I have both RE and VST, as already mentioned at this time the Rspire does have a heavy CPU load, but for me it does not stop me stacking up to 9 of them, but my computer is powerful. What I like about the ReSpire is the sound library is much easier to find patches within Reasons browser, I much pref...
