Not sure what the version was before. They’ve added some ‘switches’ which look interesting to model hardware defects which weren’t there before. I’ve tried flicking all those. The sound is just louder, distorted, over emphasis on the upper mid frequencies. And more reverberative.

I’m happy to say Reinstalling did work, I had a mix up and was still referencing my old vst folder.
All working bar Valhalla Frequency Echo which does not want to know whatever I do.
It works in Reaper.
I can live without it.
