Re: Top 5 RE's On Your Wishlist?
Waiting for an 1176 compressor RE to drop Maybe something like this? https://shop.propellerheads.com/rack-extension/softube-fet-compressor/ Good shout, my only question would be what can I buy for £150 if dont buy this. Is this the best compressor on the market, i doubt i'd even pay half the price ...

Re: Players - a way to have Live's Clip Launcher?
Why am I seeing this only now??There has been an update to 2.0 https://shop.propellerheads.com/rack-extension/jammer-loops-trigger-module/ Support for Machine Jam! This is a head turner as an owner of a Jam, can't remember if I used my trial already or if it was renting I got it with previously. Bu...

Re: What is your top 5 rack extension and why
1. VK2 - Favourite instrument (will there ever be a better sounding, more flexible synth?) 2. AD480 - Favourite reverb (works miracles on drums, when we talk about room reverbs this is the only reverb i've been convinced by so far for room emulation) 3. Selig Leveller - Favourite compressor (answer ...

Re: PSQ-1684 Rack Extension Appreciation Thread
I don't have an APC40, but this gives me some ideas about controlling PSQ with either my Novation Lanchkey or maybe using one of my Circuits. You have to make some decisions what to control since the PSQ has so many controls. Actually, you would use two or three midi controllers mapped to the PSQ. ...

Re: Inverted Clipping & Clipping From Inside
At the end there are you talking about amplitude based modulation? Kind of like a compressor GR triggering a sound when GR kicks in ? I've wanted to try this for a while for laying things with percussion

i think this talk squashed all the doom talk about Props going out of business because of making a few changes to what they are doing. Long live Reason!

Re: Sale on Love One Consulting REs just now
This whole EP was made using just the Vibro synth, the wobbling pad on "intro" got its texture and fluffiness from one Neutron. https://flavolous.bandcamp.com/album/thisisvibrous Use Neutron all over this track, all the delays were created with Neutron in particular: https://soundcloud.com/flavolous...

Re: (IDM Trap?) Aberration III
It's sick as. Love that lo-fi piano sound. Lots of crazy details. Love the compressed bass. Very fly-lo from 2:40, almost too much, but it is a beautiful sounding synth patch/chord progression. Maybe could imagine some more space in there sometimes. There's another sound in there that sounds very f...

(IDM Trap?) Aberration III
Hey guys so I just released a remix LP for my track Aberration II which includes Aberration III (which is kind of my own remix of Aberration II). Sitting in the spectrum of noise electronica, experimentalism, unstable 808 bass and other artifacts in the aberrant sonic theme. Version III is somewhat ...

Re: Do I "need" Vk-1 if I already have Vk-2
Although they share the name, they are two very different devices that work differently in some ways. Vk1 is fantastic for quick results, Vk2 is generally superior in every department. I think you need to apply context, e.g. To get the results out of VK2 that resemble VK1 it would take a lot of unde...

Re: DNALabs REs. Any tips? Please.
I find these great for layering, theres always something a bit different within the patches of AQuios I feel this adds interest to the music and its good to have an instrument in the rack that has that spice to add to a track...

Re: Sound manglers / FTSU REs
(FTSU = F**k The Sound Up :)) So now that I've finished my 1st track in Reason , I'm looking for more tools to introduce controlled chaos & destruction to my sonic palette. I'm thinking more about glitchy, stuttery, temporal, spatial and pitch-based stuff rather than general compressors, saturators...

Re: Has Rack Extensions been a success and what do think REs future will look like?
I think the future of reason would rely heavily on Eurorack makers to port all of their shit to Reason. But if they can do it for VSTs which we will still have access to but gives them access to a bigger market why would they go down the RE side of things? I mean first of all there would have to be...

Re: Has Rack Extensions been a success and what do think REs future will look like?
In the context that REs came about and the environment they existed in for so long, I'd say absolutely they were a success. I admit I was extremely excited when VST compatability came about, but I kind of ended up not really buying that many and still prefer to buy REs. I think this is the case with...

I always wanted to buy it but since I started using real 4-tracks and cassette decks, i've hesitated. But still maybe one day i'll get it.. CrapRE.. on tape. :P Even though it's a joke plugin it is still pretty damn useful. Setting aside the cassette emulation aspect and it's great as a distortion ...

This got my mastering even better, it's a bit cleaner - and because the both Reason's EQ's are better for to cut, I only did cut, and used the Synapse for boosting: How would you say Reason EQs are better for cutting? What happens when you boost? Sent from some crappy device using Tapatalk In my ex...

Re: UJam REs. €9?! Oj!!!
Tried these out, I dont really make conventional stuff, but whatever comes to mind (which usually is some obscure stuff), so I found them quite interesting as a palette for adding normality back into some of my music but also inspiring as song starters. Managed to come up with some interesting uncon...

(Wonky/ Sci-fi Noise/Experimental) F** Trucker [Flavolous Remix]
Here's a very timbral live-ish remix I put together for a fictional piece by MangaBros (pardon the song name). So MangaBros are all about wonky, left field contexts within their music, so there is a version of this piece without drums for their Backdrop edition of the F*g Trucker Remixes (found here...
