Just because it's there doesn't mean you have to use it. I was never interested in audio recording inside Reason so I don't even use that. I jumped from 2.5 to 10 now at 11. It's certainly possible to just use the features from 2.5, although I have no good reason to avoid Combinators, Thor or Europa...

I only hate subscriptions when it is the only option. Having access to "everything" in a subscription is a bait and switch. Noone NEEDS everything , but that's what the subscription promises, a continual stream of new updates that I may or may nor have any interest in. I've only updated Reason once ...

Just having more knobs would be a huge plus for me. Years of Live's 8 (now 16!!!) macro knobs and Logic's 12 knobs in Smart Controls makes the 4 knobs in the Combinator look pretty stingy.

Another tip for RRP users in Logic.

Using manual assignments to Smart Controls, it's possible to have up to 12 knobs available for tweaking Combinators, by assigning 8 of the knobs to parameters inside the Combi's individual instances.

Yes, Reason Intro is gone. More interesting question is whether the bundled Reason Lite is also gone (the two were pretty similar). Obviously the push is to get people into Reason+ instead.

Isn't this just 8 SEMs or am i missing something here? The original was 8 SEMs linked together for programming with limited patch storage. On the Panorama series, the buttons are mapped to the lower 4 knobs.
