I always created a note lane, made a clip and then labeled the clip with the lyrics. It's not ideal, but it works for me.

Rave knows what he is talking about. I love Reason, but, I think Rave makes some good points regarding what the concept of Reason was at it's inception, up until now. I've tried other DAWs (Logic, Live, ProTools) but Reason works for me. Still, I would love to be able to type values into a text box ...

I also get a bit frustrated when I have to convert mp3s to aiff or wav to chop up in Reason or Recycle, but I get by all the same.

UAD has onboard SHARC DSP processors. You can run plugins on the interface and track with really good hardware emulations. It's called UAD Unison.
Pretty cool stuff.
