Re: Reason Rack Plugin (RRP) forum?
 Reason DAW would be perfect actually. It’s Reason RP and Reason DAW. It establishes two different concepts. Or Spell our Reason Rack Plugin & Reason Workstation. Though first glance bias will understand Reason DAW faster For now, we made it a subforum of Reason General. That had more of ...

Re: Customer feedback
Problem is they do and don't. They have to listen at some point or else they won't have a fan base. But their philosophy has always been about " what we think you might want" and its hit or miss. S1 forum has a feature request page specifically where requests are voted in. Doesn't happen much here. ...

Re: Has VST-support ruined Reason?
I don't think it ended Reason. It has curbed the Reason "sound" myth (again) and made peoples investments in plugins worthwhile. I think the only drawback from VST's is the lack of RE developers. At this point, many of them have to develop products against VSTs now, especially in a market that could...

Re: Reason Rack Plugin (RRP) forum?
I only said main forum cause of the idea above. Theres no reason to look at Reason and the Rack Plugin as similar things. Those who come to the forum to look for support can go to threads strictly on their product . If it'll be a sub-forum, then its seen more so as a feature . RRP is it's own produ...

Re: Reason Rack Plugin (RRP) forum?
For: - Having a separate Reason Rack Plugin forum would be great for people who solely use the RRP. It would be less Reason standalone stuff to wade through, that is often irrelevant to the RRP. - While the RRP and Reason standalone rack are similar, they have a good amount of differences (For inst...

Re: PreSonus Sphere is next level Allihoopa?
Sphere is interesting but I don't like subs. This one has a particularly stupid feature where it has to connect to the licence server every three days. If it can't connect, it locks you out of the program(s) until it can. Ouch! Mhhmm... i getcha. When you use reason with online registration your co...

Re: "Precision Stereo Compressor" New RE from Red Rock Sound
You would use two instances of the re? One set in mid and another in side? I would just use it in mid and leave the side alone in most cases 🤷♂️ That makes sense . but why put an M/S mode on the device ? Isn't that a little confusing ? Sometimes yes. Acustica has done that recently and threw me fo...

Re: RE-200 Bass Enhancer vs Saturation Knob
Their different. From what I understand, Saturation Knob distorts via ceiling and overdriving a frequency band. Red Rock's module adds low end harmonics to the signal via signal input and band selection. Then you have the option to overdrive those harmonics and how loud. Yeah when I tried earlier, ...

That was a definite "hit the feels" moment. When he said you make the first buck and the market puts vale on your product. I learned it the other way around. I went in FREE and then to cheap and learned the hard way.

Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
Weird, innit? You assume that because music is art, and because the arts are snowflake liberal pursuits of the metropolitan intelligentsia and tools of political protest that are first to be crushed under the boot of authoritarianism, that you wouldn't get racist authoritarian views on a music prod...

Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
I will concur to say that the Democratic Party (party I belong too by name mostly) switches their focus by whatever is happening in the moment. Democrats are a strong ethos group so if it takes suffering a COVID disaster to save lives, the logic would be to fight police anyways cause black people a...

Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
One good thing about the protests and riots and stuff is that at least we now know the Covid stuff was a big fake hoax. Because if it was real... (so deadly, so dangerous, so contagious!) then why would every democrat city mayor/gov support their own people going out and catching/spreading it en ma...

Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
But that’s my point. You CAN blame the family, like you CAN blame the movement. But your efforts doesn’t constitute the behavior of said child or people. Everyone even that must speak and take responsibility for themselves. I don't think we're disagreeing on the situation at all, just on the way to...

Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
If one were to concentrate on the rioting and the looting without taking heed to the majority of peaceful protest that are happening, then you know where their interest lies. It's like having a bad child in a well of, well-mannered family. Do you oust the family as a whole? No, you attempt to wonde...

I still stand by the notion of, unless you're popular on SoundCloud, I don't see how it'll be useful. SoundCloud has their own fanbase and really, unless you appeal to them it won't work. Now I may be interested if I gain at least 1,000 followers. . .but im nowhere close

Not sure I understand the point of this post. People are out protesting, being shot with rubber bullets. Re: What is going on in the USA and stuff
And it certainly doesn't change the reality of life for many POC. There's documented, real history in America of real institutional racism and discrimination, much of it still within living memory. If you don't think that has any lasting effect on subsequent generations and their prospects and oppo...

Re: Rack Extensions Getting No Love ? also Reason it self.
I believe its mainly due to the added benefit of the VST platform across DAWs. VST is capable of doing more than the RE SDK as it stands in the eyes of people who work with other DAWs. Therefore the consistency of constantly improving upon the last EQ, Comp, Rev is exciting. Think about Slate and th...

Re: Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S49/61 MK2 and Reason Studios 11? Do they work together?
I have the MK2 49, but I mainly got it for a MIDI controller for its basic MIDI note functions. However, the remote mapping override is as simple as its ever been to quickly map stuff. You can also save MIDI templates within the MIDI Software for the keyboard to remember. I don't use it all that muc...
