I honestly would highly recommend you consider a custom built or building one yourself as you can get almost twice the value for your dollar than picking an OEM machine like Dell, compaq, etc.

It seems extremely suspicious to me that you're investing into an analog desk for your "studio" while you haven't even figured out your audio interface which is arguably the center piece of your whole studios performance though.

this is my 2nd purchase of Reason by the way...for a different purpose and different business.

Sounds to me like getting a pc is the solution.

I got an AMD 8120 cpu running 16G of RAM on a 500G ssd....AND...a creative labs sound card ....I can run 60 tracks in reason just fine...I've run 90 tracks on a song or two. Those other DAW's can suck it.

Though Im in thick water..Just bought a Korg Kronos, an RTS Producer Desk, a nice synth stand, butt seat for fat guys, AND the Kronos Hard shell case!!! So reason 10 is the ultimate icing on the cake. woot!
