Best way to achieve this effect

Hello friends... I've ALWAYS wanted to do this trick, but never know how...i'm a bit young as a mixing/producing type. it's the trippy guitar effect on the first 5 seconds of the Smith's How soon is now. I suspect there is more than one way to do this, but was hoping a reasonista would show me.... I...

Re: The bitter truth about all those discussions about what DAW is better

Everyone here just needs to face the fact that Reason is the ONLY BEST DAW EVER MADE! PERIOD> I grew up messing around with stage equipment, when I saw that Reason uses REAL example wires, I knew they were THE BEST. All others suck donkey gonads! I just said this on the internet so BOOM! It's fact. ...

Re: (Electronic) Song called Rapid Deployment Force

Ty JneffLind!

I can agree about the carnival type feel too... It fit our style in that game... We were all in the smallest little mechs available going up against titan sized mechs...They'd always laugh at us as we ran across the battlefield... they stopped laughing very soon after hehehehehe

Turbosound IP-2000

Hello Friends, I recently got to behold with mine own ears a Turbosound IP-2000 speaker system. Just one, not stereo. I was impressed with the full range and clarity and wanted to know if anyone here is/has used this equipment for live performance or otherwise? I'd love anyone's thoughts on the matt...

Re: Live Recording question

Thank you QVprod for the great advice! Correct on the mic by the way!!! lol...I don't get it out of the box much except for special recording occasions...don't get much time to do recordings unfortunately. I may be able to get ahold of an additonal mic of similar sensitivity before the time to recor...

Re: (Electronic) Song called Rapid Deployment Force

TY! Our unit of mechs were as light as can be and as fast as possible. Hence the term RDF. If you've ever played any mechwarrior, you know that the little guys are DEAD pretty quick if they're not moving fast. Our unit leader could bring down an Atlas with an Assassin mech about 90% of the time due ...

(Electronic) Song called Rapid Deployment Force

This song was originally created using a dos based cakewalk version with win95, then later "ported" to a Korg 01/w using a general midi disk... the song was written for my "RDF" mechwarrior guild....back in the days of AOL free games, they had one called Mechwarrior 3025 and our group had many month...

Live Recording question

Hello friends, I've got a project to record my son's high school orchestra (about 40 students in a string orchestra) I wouldn't dream of doing it with anything but Reason. (for the orchestra booster club to sell CD's) I've never recorded this big of an acoustic group before....this entire project wi...

The Term "EQ Matching"

Hello friends, I did a search for EQ matching but didn't really get a result I thought met this idea. I've been reading on a couple sites about this term EQ Matching and how it's a trick to get 'that perfect guitar sound to match some other song, etc..." Well they all use Ozone 6 EQ which has this c...

Re: You can Now Rent to Own plugins !?!

Why a company or developer would not want to have every possible way to earn income is beyond me. That being said I'm no fan of subscription based software .....except when it makes sense... to me, office 365 makes sense, but adobe cloud does not....sadly i have to pay for both and one is far too e...

Re: Izotope VocalSynth - Possible??

you guys that know how to route, tweak, and create don't have the issues us guys who just know how to play keyboards have... alot of high technical sounding plugins, but how about simple presets of varying vocoder effects....that's worth paying money for in my opinion. I just don't have time to lear...

Re: Does Reason have proper multicore support?

AMD machines are rock solid, it's all I'm willing to build for my business customers. Intel is highway robbery.

As for Reason and AMD....I got an 8320 with a Sound Blaster X/fi and it never cracks or crackles no matter how many tracks I throw at it.

Just sayin

I own a (me and the wife sized) computer IT company in Oklahoma. Have just enough customers to pay the bills and buy the Reason updates when they come ...
