Re: Utility Modules - 1st up MN Maths [Video] Mix, A-vert, Slew
I have the Quadra with Expander which is a very capable function generator with the possibility to create complex envelopes or envelope patterns (or lfos) comparable with other function generators like Rampage, Maths, PEG or Falistri. And the quadra has 4 eg:s compared to the others that only has 2,...

Re: More modules coming to MODRACK by Murf
Thank you Murf for these modules. I'd suggest you to add CV control to the ADSR parameters too, and, further refinement, control(s) to alter the curves. Another nice thing would be the addition of audio rate outputs to the CV modules (LFO, ADSR), allowing to use them directly as modulation sources ...

And you need a DC-coupled audio interface. Regular audio intefaces usually block DC voltage, as well as AC below audio rate.

Re: Reason + Reaktor + Blocks = mindblower
So ... pardon the revival of this old thread but still is relevant, at least to me. How are you all feeling re: Reaktor in Reason now that we've added Complex-1 to the mix? I'm considering a crossgrade price from NI for Reaktor but am curious as to the current usage in Reason now that time has marc...

Re: 6 new REs from Noise Engineering!!!
I checked with PH and they told me that vouchers should have gone out. If you did not get one, or if you purchased all three but not as the bundle, please contact PH support directly and they will get you sorted out. I bought the bundle for 69€ on the 16th of May, so I guess I need to contact the P...

Re: Step Note Recorder II
That would indeed be amazing. I've been brainstorming around it before, but I haven't come up with a great solution (yet). For example, since RE parameters are independent (especially if they can be controlled via automation or Remote), there's no way to ensure that the markers don't cross each oth...

ES-8 for Audio.. Yes. But, don't sleep. But for MIDI and Clock... and versatility... Gate, Trigger, etc...Hardware, Software, iOS,... - the upcoming FH-2 by Expert Sleepers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=PLlY5j4QDwxWsDudLG5C0EVdvm1sVhE-b_&v=c4y8RPDm2h0 But don't they both do CV & Audio i/o? Re: How to record Reaktor sequencer into Reason
Thanks for the clarification. Suspected there was a difference. Didn't use reaktor that much before blocks. Seemed to be to much code - have always preferred to think in terms of voltages. But good to know if I start using sequencers outside blocks.

Re: How to record Reaktor sequencer into Reason
Could you explain this so I get it. I have got an acceptable result just by taking the the cv from reaktor to reason as audio (just lowering the output form reaktor a bit - 0.4 - 0.5). This way note cv tracks at least 2-3 octaves, which is usually enough for me. When you say it tracks correctly if ...

Re: How to record Reaktor sequencer into Reason
The way I've gotten it to work is to use audio outputs in Reaktor for the Gate and CV signals, then convert audio to CV in Reason using Thor (CV in to Audio out in Mod Matrix, "amount" set to 100). BUT there's one thing to remember - all signals in Reason are 0-1 or -1 to +1. So when you send out n...

Nice update. Especially that you can see the number of repeats and the repeat mode at the same time. And the conditions is a cherry on top. The only thing I'm missing is a lenght marker in the beginning of the sequence so you could make the sequence shorter or longer from both directions (like the k...

More drone friendly noise machines i guess since all envelopes has a sustain. Plus the addition of 3 new sound engines. And also an LPG on each. According to the dictionary Vereor means dread or fear, so I guess it will be possible to get some dreadful sounds out of them...

Re: PSQ-1684 Rack Extension Appreciation Thread
The PSQ-1684 is great because its flexible. It can be a drum machine, a pattern sequencer/selector, a waveform generator. How do you use it as a waveform generator? Any sequencer can generate a waveform. If you loop a couple of cv-values you get a stepped waveform that could be used as a lfo, an en...

What kind of stuff are looking looking to do with the ES-8, Faastwalker? The main thing will be to utilise Reason's many sequencing, modulation sources to send to the modular / Eurorack gear. But it will also be useful to send CV/audio from the outside back in to Reason. I've only got a small Euror...

Re: Is there a CV device/s that will let me do the following:
You can't transpose a matrix sequencer in any simple way via cv. But you can use a gate to switch between two different matrix patterns if you use a combinator. You can transpose the thor step sequencer via the transpose pitch cv in, but it is tricky. If you feed the note cv out from another thor se...

Re: Bipolar Knob Functioning (CV catastrophe)
Use Thor. Adress a rotary 2 times 100 to cvout in the mod matrix and a button one time -100 to the same cvout.
Or just take a rotary from thor (or CV8x4 or any other rotary that give you 0-100) and connect it to CVA7 (free RE) and take the cv out as bipolar.
Both ways works just fine.

Really loving these modules. After a fair amount of time I even start to get grip of what happens in loquelic iteritas percidio - and I must say I enjoy the weirdness it produces. My question to Noise Engineering is if why there isn't a switch between trig, loop and free on the RE-version (like on t...
