Re: ZITADELLE - Deep House

Nice mix :) but not what i expected. This is more electronic/jazz stuff than deep-house. Great stuff nonetheless

Re: (nu-disco, bootleg) Ring my bell feat. Anita Ward

EDM is shifting toward deeper, more soulful house, so you're in the right track. I would work the mix a bit more so the vocal stands out. Thnx for the reply dude. Yeah i know about the vocals; unfortunately they're already processed to begin with wich makes it hard to mix them properly before they ...

(nu-disco, bootleg) Ring my bell feat. Anita Ward

Well, i listened to some popular clubhouse and i thought : "that takes no talent, i can do that!". So i mixed this song, turns out to be more of a disco-house genre than clubhouse and is nowhere near as 'cool' as the latter. However, had fun making this song. Was too lazy to spice it up a little com...

Though, I guess the only opinion that really matters on this track is your girl's! (i know she loved it, or will when she hears it) Haha yeah that is true! ....she broke up with me though....she thought the song was nice but that i screwed up the mix  (jk, we all good :D ) LMAO!!!!...

Soundcloud poor streaming quality?

Hey guys,

Is it me or is Soundcloud not that great with regard to streaming quality? I know it renders it to mp3 (i think 128 kbps?) but there seems to be quite some artifacts? I'm going to switch to youtube to upload my tracks for at least the 320 kbps capability.

What are your thoughts..

Im glad you mentioned the part about it being a separate vocal and music samples. You fit them together so well I wouldn't have been able to tell.

Re: [Hip Hop] Flexin (Prod by Adam Bomb)

Listening on my laptop speakers, so can't comment on the bass. However, everything seems to be well balanced and even with the bass missing the kick and snare are still punchy enough to drive this track through. So laptop approved :P

(Lo-fi Hip Hop, Instrumental) - Tell me

This song started with a sample (beginning of the song) and i worked from there on out. It took me a looong time to find the right sounds/direction to compliment the sample. But i think it worked out! Though it could have used some more flair maybe to break from its linearity. Also, sample is from y...

I can see dancing robots in Japan, dancing and cheering on the corpses of the very beings that created them. This is happy music, twisted post-apocalyptic happy that is :P

Very nice!! Rich vocals, 80's vibe and cool drum/vocal chops. Haha sounds you had massive amounts of fun! Like cocaine-overdose 80's fun! :P But personally i'd rather see you had used a verse-chorus structure composition wise if you don't mind me saying so. Now it seems like you start with the choru...

Aww.. Reason is soooo good for creating your own combis to do this, kind of a missed chance not to do that but instead buy premade things. True  Guess it's both a time-thing and the fact that i don't know where to start when making abstract ambients.. I will check out some info on the web tho...

Re: How much you hate your own music?

Interesting question :) I used to think my music was really crappy (though never hated it) but i'm finally getting the hang of it, especially mix-wise. I used to dislike my music because the mix was bad, but now i take it way more lightly and always see it as a learning process. Some songs succeed a...
