Got my own website, come discover me.

Hello my friends, I've been producing beats for about 12 years and I've got 4 albums that even my closest of friends have haven't heard. Please visit my online music shop at http://www.kryovakmusic.com I call my music - Holiday music, it takes the mind on a nice journey away. My mind kept telling me...

Re: Do you listen to your own music?

I listen to my own music a lot, this is the 3rd time I've even heard the music I made 12 years ago. When I go back that far though as much as I really like the tunes, some I just hear where I could of improved this or that, although the computer with those old sessions has probably made it's way int...

Re: Korg Nano series

I've got a Nanopad 2 and a Korg nanoKEY Studio, I like both and find them very useful as they don't take up much space on my desk and they are quality. I could never get the Oxygen 61 Pads to work inside Reason. I didn't like the fact the faders wouldn't work with the Oxygen 61 as well, half the shi...

Re: First Amiga mod since the early 90's :)

I just removed Renoise 4 from my computer a few days ago, it's like most the Daws that I've tried there are things I love and things that absolutely give me the shits. The thing that gave me the shits about Renoise is it won't find my Livid Ohm 64, although that's why I bought Ableton and Max for Li...

Re: A series of 3 dreams that gave me hope.

Yeah Peter I've had my fair share of negative experiences collaborating with others on music.
I used to have a very inspiring circle in the start, although if it where the other way around I never would of have got into producing music. :reason:

Re: A series of 3 dreams that gave me hope.

I have the right circle of friends around me who would embrace and even support and collaborate with me if I was to got into taking Rap serious. This was the year I planned to leave Rap behind me and up the tempo BPM wise and so I've been creating Drum & Bass and 1 of my long-term goals was to have ...

A series of 3 dreams that gave me hope.

I've had 3 dreams In all 3 I was with my solemate, I met her about 8 years ago and it took some time to tell her "You are my soulmate" she was fine with it and so much happened, she is still a part of my life even though she is living 1 state away from me. I miss her around, I go where we would meet...

Re: What is your honest opinion about Facebook?

For me facebook was fun at the start, instant message sort of chats between people was what I enjoyed. See I loved the old Yahoo chat and MSN Chat well chat rooms in general was a nice way for me to get out of my bubble and I will admit the odd organisation of a blind date excited me in my teenage y...

Re: I'm going with a new journey

New year, new tempos for me. I've been having a go at making Drum & Bass, I feared it for a longtime, now I embrace. I tried the slower tempo, although now I'm going uptempo. You know it's good to get out of the comfort zones, i'm finding it fun, so like you I was seeking fresh change. By the way I ...

Re: Cubase Pro 9 rant/Reason 9 love

I've been cheating on Reason with Ableton, nothing to do with VST. Well maybe a little to do with Vst. Although I have way more sounds in Reason then I ever could have in other software, just feel I'm not getting along with Reasons mixer and no matter how cool my jams may turn out my mastering lacks...

Re: Kilohearts kHs One just $19 and Reverser is FREE

kHs ONE really I did think it was awesome and got it at full price, although I've only used Khs ONE about 3 times. I assumed I'd use it more then that but it's getting a bit dusty, ya know, you go to the ones you treasure and well in my case this ONE is getting forgotten all the time. At $20 that's ...

Re: The Laptop for music making, what do I need to know?

Carol, I was about to go down that road, but having never owned a laptop and looking at the cost of upgrading my new laptop plus software and all. Well I researched and found out I couldn't upgrade my gig, been stuck with 4 Gig just gave me the shits. I mean my Mac Mini has 4 gig of ram as well and ...

Nice tune, even i'm guilty of not giving much attention to that green monsta Mal the green old pal. A friend who is 22 was asking the other day what cartoons did I enjoy watching when younger? His was Looneytunes and Simpsons, Family Guy Mine a mix of TopCat, Ren & Stimpy and TaleSpin / Duck Tales ,...

Re: Extracting samples for use outside Reason

You create a folder and then save the .wav format sounds you like into that folder and then open them up in a Sampler Vst A VST that let's you drag and drop .wav files or access that folder of .wav in some way. Fxpansion Geist 2 or Linplug CRX4 are a few examples their are a few options, but you're ...

Re: The Laptop for music making, what do I need to know?

Never mind friends been a first time owner of a laptop seemed more trouble upgrading it then expected. I found out I couldn't upgrade the ram from 4 Gig to 8 Gig and it was unclear if I could upgrade the SSD in it anything over 256 Gig, that's even after me reading the manual. I gave up and swapped ...

Re: Korg M1 Rack Extension

If you haven't tried Jittery Pokery Elements 2 Refill you should as it has Korg MS200, Korg Wavestation some Waldorf Blofeld sounds and a few other goodies. Just a warning it's a bit of a CPU hog and 4 Gig Ram will limit what you can use. This is speaking from exprience. http://www.jiggery-pokery.co...

2 of my personal favorites are these 2- https://soundcloud.com/drkryovak/orbit-saturn https://soundcloud.com/drkryovak/reaktor-spiral-escape To simply explain why I fave Orbit Saturn I really like the rhythm and swing I gave it and even the way the sounds gel nicely. I wouldn't mind an Anki Cozmo, not allowed pets and feeling a bit alone, miss the interaction of my parrot or fish.
So I would like interacting with Anki Cozmo, heck i'd prefer Cozmo over this virtual reality crap on PS4 my mates where excited for then felt burnt by within the first week. Haha

Re: The Laptop for music making, what do I need to know?

Gorgon yes you're correct in saying nothing wrong with i5's it's the 4 Gig of ram that i've became unhappy with, just not enough power I ended up buying the HP Envy Spectre XT, although I can upgrade the ram in this to 8 Gig and I have an option to upgrade the SSD (Planning to upgrade to 1TB I'm won...
