Re: So what's on the horizon for REs?

I would like to see what comes out, if i mix several different synth methods (additive, subtractive, wavetable, phase distortion, FM, AM, RM, resynthesis, physical, and so on...) combined with a bunch of different modifiers... And pls, no limits for modifiers and all should be automatable and a big ...

Re: KRAFT has landed in the shop.

Gang, KRAFT is $9 right now - just so's you know. I feel like I should buy it, but I have so many synths. Same here. And since VST i got even more and for free. But in the end, i have a few very great synths, that should provide all the required sounds. I try to limit my self only for something rea...

Re: Parallel processing in Reason

You are correct about that! I personally find it better/easier to use this technique because it allows you to mix using the faders and manipulate the effect independently of the dry signal.. Also, you can go deeper and do things like filter the parallel channel to process only a certain part of the...

Re: "PanHandler" Rack Extension Now in Beta

There won't be a closed beta forum? Loque, That sounds like a good idea, but I apparently don't know how to do it. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks, Todd I hope one of the moderators hopp in for that. Its possible to have a closed forum here. Maybe you could directly ask a moderator.

Re: Anyone Using Futzbox?

it has several fx units in one, where each can be used standalone. That means 6 fx in one, where distortion has plenty of algorithms. Never realized, that i already had a noise gate with this fx :-) i find it quite handy to get some specific lo-fi like cheap speakers, but can also be driven pretty h...

Re: audio signal to midi

You need a Gate signal to trigger a drum instrument on a drum computer. This can be generated by a audio signal through a Compressor and its (backside) CV Gainreduction Out.Adjust the compressor to the threshold, when the compressor should create a gain reduction. Use a high compression ratio to hav...

Re: Nostromo 2 under construction

Hi Just got nostromo and love it! Besides more LFO shapes does anyone know what version 2 will offer? It'd be ridiculous if it had an FM capability. I think that would make it the most powerful of REs well fm and sample import, I love how you can turn x fading off and have a stepped wave sequence. ...

Re: Proton 1.1 in the shop

I modulate the position. I'm sure I used bipolar cv (I've tried several lfo's). Proton manual p. 21: "All CV input signals are converted internally into a unipolar range and any input signal value smaller than zero is clampet to zero" Ok. Bipolar is the most CV i use, so thats not so good. Than its...

Re: Proton 1.1 in the shop

Is it just me or did I find a bug: I have a sample in Proton in mode 2 and want to modulate the position knob. I set the position knob on Proton somewhere in the middle, connect a Pulsar set to "random" to the mod cv 1 input and turn the amount up to 100 in the matrix. The position jumps around but...

It would be great if the combinator had a learn function so you could automate rotaries to different vst parameters without having to scroll through groups for days :p serum is easy but synthmaster 2 takes a while and I can't imagine something like omnisphere 2 lol I just thought the same today. Well, maybe there is really only VST3 on Windows available. Can someone else confirm?

Re: Some bugs / bad implementations in ReSpire

There is a beta going on, but its quiet there since months. My feeling is they gave up. That was my gut feeling when they did the summer sale with additional full refund of the RE intro price on buying the VST. Since I prefer RE over VST, I skipped the sale. Might have been a bad decision  No...

You can instantly passthru your CV in the CVA-7 and alter it to unipolar.
Switching from passthrough to unipolar changes nothing for me. =/
Well, you can still scale the CV signal with a rotary. Just put the rotary as source and use the same cv out.
