Yea, probably your username and password was found in a database of have accounts. You don't use the same username and password for different accounts? Do you? Re: Steinberg discontinues vst2 for all users
It's strange to witness how fast the destruction of Digital History is happening in front of my eyes. Not all VST2 devs are still alive and recreate on VST3. In a few months or years it will be as if they never existed, like an old faded memory. 32bit --> 64bit ??? Mac OS updated ??? DirectX plugin...

Re: iZotope Trash is back
Aaaaand it doesn’t work on Catalina and I can’t install above that w my old Mac. Man what a let down. Decided to test this and I can confirm It's twitchy but Lite version still works in R12 running Catalina. If I wasn't so skint I'd just but the upgrade to test it. It's not like I won't use it one ...

Yea, sure. But it needs samples as a source._andreypetr_ wrote: ↑24 Mar 2024It's not using samples. As developer said, everything we hear is synthesized with audio file reference.

Re: Visco by Forever 89
Interesting. Looks like some spectral sampler, which can smear out some stuff in the spectrum and also blend two sources. Also the UI is nice. I think there are already a few spectral modification samplers out there, but i dont think they have a morph/fade/blend/whatever thing... One of those devs a...

Re: Reason 12.7.4 Release Notes
Has Reason basically been abandoned now workflow wise? just ridiculous now. We're half way through the third month of 2024 after a year of waiting for workflow additions. As a rule of thumb, if you don't see any updates on a product that is being actively developed, it's because they're either: 1. ...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
Yes, the returns make sense, because they have a lower delay. The mixer input delay depends on the audio buffer settings. AFAIK. The returns don’t have any delay , there is delay on the channels intentionally. It’s not a limitation of the system, it’s an imposed limitation to mitigate runaway feedb...

Re: Reason 12.7.4 Release Notes
The fact that the latest versions of Reason can introduce bugs into the old devices worries me. I thought that there is no reason to touch the device's sound engine code at all when implementing other DAW new features and changes. But if this happens and bugs occur in older devices, it means that p...

Re: Omega Mastering Clipper is now available
I wish the Omega Mastering Clipper sounded better because it has such a nice look, big display very useful. But the clipping done becomes very harsh quickly, compared to the GClip. I also bought some vst called KClip 3, by Kazrog , it was on sale but all the options it offers, feel very rich. Now f...

Re: Nebula Reverb
Lots of buzzwords.
No CV control.
The UI looks clean, maybe a bit too clean
Not sure, if it also contains IR, because i speculate it is a GE fx and AFAIR it doesn't have a "Cathedral" algorithm or has it just a extra long tail?

The UI is not resizable, but bigger.

I would like to try the demo, but it seems broken. Log in to account is also not possible ATM.

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
cool thread. im just now getting caught up on it. here's my 2 cents. for sound design, I always combinator my instruments and use a mixer 14:2 in said combi. this might just be me, but i never even use the send returns and instead just wire them back to a channel in the mixer. that way i can make s...

Re: Do I need The Legend?
Yeah should be pretty cool! Also kind of funny that Synapse has a synth called Dune and the synth used for the Dune movie was Legend lol Or maybe the Dune synth was also used ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That is wild. Dune used in Dune. I just hope the HZ RE version has a killer fx section to tap into like Obsession ...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
Yes. Would be great to have at least 6 sends with returns of the option to die them too the mixer and creat feedback loops or FX mixing. 10 channels in sum would be nice. So like this? mod2.png Yeah. No need to make it extra small. When I mix a sound, I am in mixing mode and working on the mixer on...
