Re: [acid techno] Rising Night Wave - Come On! [finished]
overall a good work with nice sounddesign and a very technoid, rather varying than evolving structure - i like it. the clicking isnt really "wrong", but you might tame it by splitting the sound with m-class stereo imager, then reduce width and volume on the high channel. i want to criticise the pre...

Re: (Melodic Techno/Tech House) Hokotiponctus
i think this is a very well-working track. i just feel it sounds a bit muffled, a narrow but not too weak boost between 12 and 12.5 khz might help. other than that this could totally sit in one of those rather pleasant techhouse mixes by miss monique.

Re: (Experimental / Piano) Countach
i enjoyed it, especially the atmosphere - is this some kind of serial approach? and good job making the harsh pattern transitions sound meaningful most of the time. sadly the sudden fadeout gives this a "just a demo" feel in the end.

i think that the sound design, rhytms, breaks and fx, arrangement are very good in v2. it might still need a little boost on the low end.

Re: (Prodigy cover) Roma - Diesel Power
It is like a midi track. The same kind. No need to explain why you think so. I think there's a blurred line that gets crossed when someone makes an easy edit / edits to someone else's work then calls it their own or their own remix. I know how a midi file works in a DAW and how easy it is to edit t...

Re: What makes Reason a great “Idea Starter”?
considering that theoretically any DAW can do anything nowadays - reason is great because almost everything works and it never crashes.

Re: Cv sequencing of non western tunings possible in reason ?
regardless of the validity of all of this, in "edit->preferences->audio" you can change reason's master tuning in microsteps, so just go 440hz -8. btw i dont buy the whole thing, if 432hz could rescue the world it would already have happened, as so many people have already experimented with it. of c...

Re: Lupin's Lullaby (Sketch with a sound made with Objekt))
i think this has great potential, it has a very deep sound and a mystical, flowing atmosphere. but to make it stand on its iown would really crank the the low end up a lot and maybe add some air. I have the bass part in my head. But do you think the sound is okay? I have one more day off in my 4-da...

Hey there, this is my entry for the Dice Synthesizer Song Competition, but I'd like to hear your feedback and critique here as well: every track I do I try to improve a little bit and your help is precious. Have a nice day! https://soundcloud.com/giuliano-morelli/mist-leaps absolutely fantastic tra...

Re: KI (Techno)
I´m a little bit dissapointed. I try for nearly 2 months to create a track and burn 2 towers of a Reason Rack. Sometimes it´s better to leave ideas :? https://mattvank.bandcamp.com/track/ki i think the composition and sound design on this are very good, it just needs a huuuge boost to the low end.

Re: (electronica)
sounds more like an experiment than a fully fledged track. but the absolute weirdness used to create a relatively classical musical progression has potential. if it was mine i'd mostly work on rhythmical note placement, mix and clarity to flesh it out.

looking for simple sample and hold device/tech
as the title says. i use reason 11 suite and i know no other way to s/h CV data than using complex 1 or a synth with latch function, but those always introduce lag. is there a very slim and simple solution for this in stock or do i have to get an RE? thx for advices!.

Re: [Electro/Minimal/IDM] Asthros EP
i think you got the point when wrote electro cos it's quite typical electro sound. but it is minimal and dark. well, first song is interesting, well done, but somehow (just my oppinion and my taste) i do not like those hollow or how shall i say drum percs in second part. but they fit well into song...

Re: capricious inclination (piano and strings, well d50)
I rarely quantize my playing. if it is that bad I would more likely play it again. And Raw was my intention. Like the spaceship that inspired it, this piece will never reach orbit. Thanks for your input. I tried the transit shaper I could not reach a sound I liked. I will look at the hammer noise i...

Re: capricious inclination (piano and strings, well d50)
Tame with EQ? Or kill the piano? I used Processed Piano and Radical Piano layered. Most of the effects are on the Processed Piano layer. though the layers combined are saturated and compressed with pulveriser for glue. But I did the recording as a midi so I could change the whole sound without havi...

If you pay for Soundcloud you'll be able to update any song without having to upload a new song/link. I do that all the time. Tweak things and update the track. It's a very nice function to have. Do I have to give them money? So it is like Twitter blue. If you want to correct your errors you must p...
