selig wrote:Delay compensation is most important on parallel tracks
Well, it´s important on ALL tracks, parallel or not. If I slap a maximizer on my drum bus it gets delayed whereas my instruments bus doesn´t (because I don´t use that maximizer on my instruments). Result: my groove is gone...

Yeah I know, but I am used to just press space for start and stop. The Reason way is not for me I guess.

Re: automation help

Make sure record enable is off on your audio track! Selected audio tracks are record enabled automatically. To switch this off hit the Manual Rec Button in the sequencer. Tip: Instead of right clicking on the parameter you wish to automate you can use alt+click. http://www2.pic-upload.de/img/2918432...

Microtip: REAPER´s transport behavior in Reason

Coming from traditional DAWs, I´ve always found Reason´s transport behavior to be a PITA. I want space to be start/stop with the playhead returning to the play start position when stopped. Yes I´ve used both. Sold the Xpress as soon as I tried the PRO. On pictures the PRO looks a bit ugly, but to me it is way more ergonomic than the Xpress due to the palm rest. The weighted aluminium jog wheel is a joy to use. Plus you can put tags underneath the PRO´s buttons.

It's inexpensive. The reviews are good.
Better go with the ShuttlePRO. The jog wheel is so much better!

Having the knobs and buttons work bidirectionally (though I don´t have a clue how to implement this when a knob controls multiple things with different min and max values)...
