Re: Moving Rack Extensions to External SSD?
I have completely up-graded my old unsupported Mac and after months found I have no issue; therefore, I will share. I use Opencore Legacy Patcher. It allowed my High Sierra OS system to be upgraded to Monterey. I could have gone to the latest OS, but Monterey is the most stable. The beautiful thing ...

Re: Loyalty Discount Structure for Reason Upgrade
I like the way it works currently - buying at the upgrade price from whatever version you are, I went from 8 to 12 for 80 dollars, so no complaints there! Regarding the Rewards thing, I logged in to see how many points I had. I had the same 5 points as when I had last used the Shop a couple of year...

Re: Announcing Reason 13
I noticed they gave us an instrument, an effect, more sounds, even up dates in the sequencer but no player. Could that be in the big reveal.

Re: Synapse Audio The Legend HZ has arrived.
Uhh...would the 3 additional oscillator fit in the RE? The mod matrix is great, but does it have a few more modulation sources? Edit: 6 high-quality VA oscillators. 4 MSEGs (Multiple Segment Envelope Generators) . Polyphony up to 12 voices, and a new Unison II mode with increased stereo spread. A F...

Re: FREE! Behringer Vintage Plugin synth
Trying it out. These octave settings are the worst I have ever encountered. It is their first plugin and not that I am wishing them success in the plugin world, but I rather they partner with RS and we get subtractor and the like in a hardware version. As a matter of fact they do not represent any ...

Re: Audio to midi
Wow! I will try that. This is one of the reasons I love this DAW, for there is always a work around. I appreciate your help. Thank you all. And just so you know, BV-X does all this within one RE :puf_wink: Thanks. That’s the thing I was looking for. So I am going to try to track using all the ones ...

Re: Audio to midi
How about this: You connect the audio out of the microphone's audio track channel with a Neptune. Neptune's CV Amplitude Out goes into the Instruments Gate In and the CV Pitch out gets converted to unipolar in a free CVA-7 and then goes into the instruments Note/CV In. It does not print the notes y...

Re: Audio to midi
Thank you. I have seen some VST’s that can accomplish the task. I was just checking to se if anything in Reason coukd do the job. Thanks again. I myself didn't know that Reason could do it for mono signals built right into the DAW, so, very cool! The reason I mentioned Melodyne, despite the cost, i...

Re: Audio to midi
That's one dealbreaker for me that will prevent me (for now) using Reason as my full time DAW. No ARA 2 support. Melodyne just gives the most amazing audio to midi, and there are other incredible plugins like the SynchroArts ones that benefit from ARA 2 workflow. That said, melodyne WILL still give...

Re: Audio to midi
Is there a device that turns audio into midi? I want to sing in my audio then convert it to midi so I can use instruments with my voice as the controller. I saw a vst that does that but before I purchase it I rather have an RE that can simulate the effect. No need for additional devices, bounce aud...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
This looks pretty dope! How hard would it be to add a couple things? CV in for sends would be amazing, as would a bi-polar/uni-polar switch for CV control over the things that are CV-controllable. I'm not sure how useful the insert in/out is on this, even though I know this is a pretty standard fea...

Where do you get this device? I seems very useful. My question is can it control mute in multiples so one could automate within the mixer?

 In guitar fields, may be better buy cheap guitar, now much more easy find nice and cheap guitars... this is better way to guitar sound.. but.. of guitar only for few moments, this guitar style VST/RE may be enough.. Save money and buy guitar))) May be better choice for somebody I mean, t...

Re: A-list acouistic guitarist - where has it gone
If I am not mistaken UJAM created that RE for Reason. Their equivalent in a VST is Silk and Amber. One is more for picking styles and the other for strumming. If you need a good guitar try Ample sound acoustic guitar. They even have a free one that works well and sounds good too.

Re: MIX88 Stereo 8x8 Matrix Mixer available in reason Shop
Thanks you. I always thought the main mixer was always activated. So in truth if one has the CPU power then the main mixer could be any mixer through channel strips. Wow I never knew that. “Activated” yes, affecting/changing the sound in any way (assuming all FX are bypassed), no. In a digital syst...

Re: MIX88 Stereo 8x8 Matrix Mixer available in reason Shop
My question is does any mixer bypass the SSL mixer? If it does not then my second question: what would be the purpose other than sound design or combining instruments and effects? Why I ask, we have VST’s that are channel strips which I do not believe removes the RS Main mixer. So in this new mixer...

Re: Who would you prefer to acquire Reason Studios?
Is it for sale or is this speculation? Even so, why not join forces with other companies like many are doing and make total integration to their products within themselves. Like Ik multimedia for guitar pedals, more realistic old school keyboards, real drums and orchestra plugins. Plus they have som...
