In A List Guitars, like Finger Picking Nylon, how do I turn off the prerecorded patterns/loops and just use it as a guitar sound module, to play my own melodies/patterns? I can't find any button to do so.

Can I use just the samples in A-List Guitarist independent of the preset patterns? I'd like to make my own picking patterns in the sequencer and just use the guitar sounds. Can I do this? If so, how?

I have put the samples folder in the same folder as the NNXT .sxt files. Still... when I go to load any patch, I get a "sounds could not be found" pop up. That folder is labeled "samples" and still... Reason can't find it.

Whether it's a Refill or just a folder with .sxt presets doesn't matter. Place the folder wherever you wish. You simply just need to navigate to that folder location in Reason.
