Re: (Orchestral Electronic) - Last Eclipse
Great sound, I really like the compression and saturation over it. If you listen to Vangelis stuff, for example Blade Runner, it's distorted and compressed as fuck but in a really appealing way.

Re: (dreamy rock) no one down here
Didn't listen to all the tracks, just the first one and my oh my it's quite the vibe. No one down here is really good. Might have to listen to the others when I have more time. The mix is excellent as well. Good work. I wasn't on board with the first minute and then it all turned around quickly. Th...

Re: I really, really should learn how to program synths.
Personally it was hardware that got me into it, a Korg Minilogue specifically. Something about all of the controls being laid out physically in front of me made it more understandable. From there I got right into Thor and am still right into Thor.

Re: [Electronic/Minimal/Ambient] Descending
I like that explanation. Especially that bigger picture part. You want to tell a story in a certain ‘language’. As with life, some people understand the language you use, while others dont or do but to a lesser extend. No offense to Bloma oc.✌️ yes, you could say it like that. different music can r...

Re: (dreamy rock) no one down here
i listened to no one down here. its not that much down my alley (not that much into singing) but i gotta say its an exceptionally well-made track. i dont understand that much of the text, but what i understand is kinda on the darker, mystic side and fits the atmosphere of the instrumental part well...

Re: (dreamy rock) no one down here
Im glad you did! No one down here is great song. Whos that doing the vocals besides you? Or is it yourself in some diff semis? Anyway i like that double vocal thing. Music is lovely. Mixing is done well! Slightly less distorted, but i got instant mellon collie vibes. And i still play that record re...

(dreamy rock) no one down here
Made this one a little while ago. Used mostly hardware gear for the synths/drums/guitars. TR-8, Minilogue, 7 string guitar, some FX pedals, and lots of Reason effects. One of those projects I felt really guilty about not finishing and releasing so finally got around to it. https://bloma.bandcamp.com...

Re: [Electronic/Minimal/Ambient] Descending
Sonically it's fantastic, really vibey, and spacious. For me personally it's far too minimal, like it wants go somewhere on a journey but it stays pretty still. It seems like that was probably what you were going for though.

Re: [Melodic 4 to the Floor Electronic] Hardware Jam ft. Elektron Syntakt, Digitone, Analog Four and ASM Hydrasynth
I really enjoyed this. Love that playful melody that comes in at 1:41, and lots of nice wonky sounds. Also, try not to get so into it, you'll knock everything on the floor. Thanks, nice to get some feedback. There's a lot of me after lock down so that's good advice 😂 Sorry, I didn't intend it that ...

Re: (Acid Techno) Cyan- Cyon
My main issue with this is the main bass sound, everything else fits really nicely. It's too upfront or something, I'd be curious to hear the track with a different sound there.

Re: [idm, acid, electronic] RTFX | Confrexia
The bassline sounds fucking great, as do all the synths. I still reckon the drums sound too flat and vanilla though. Sometimes I wack a Synchronous on and automate a button to switch between dry/wet so you can get some easy glitchy fills.

Gorgeous melodies and synth sounds. Ooh that arpeggio that comes in is like a blossoming carnivorous flower. Fuckin dig this.

Re: (Weird Progressive Electronica) - Giant Space Squid
That low distorted synth is goddamn tasty. Come to think of it, the whole track is goddamn tasty. Yeah give me an album full of this shit Tritone! Thanks Bloma. That low distorted bass is a modulated Parsec patch run through Creme (and some other processing). I probably won't make any cohesive/them...

Re: (industrial, acid) Sludge Mechanic EP
These are all imho very nice, dark, eerie textures/soundscapes (if i may call them this) Mixing is on point, but i didnt expect anything less from you😉 Bass is under control. No muddiness or interference with other low end instruments. I really liked Soul Gorger. The first half was so dark; it woul...

Re: Thor LFOs - what governs the phase/when it starts?
Not sure about this, but setting one LFO to another speed for a few seconds and then back to its initial setting might do the trick. If inverting polarity doesn’t do the trick, this approach would get you there with a little trial/error. I would automate one of the two LFOS on bar one (assuming the...

Re: Thor LFOs - what governs the phase/when it starts?
Hey, I made a track recently, and I had 2 Thors with similar patches, with both LFO 2s at 0.34 Hz, and initially, the LFOs were out of phase, and playing nicely off each other. Since loading the track up again, they are both in phase, effecting the sound at the same time. I thought the 'delay' knob...

Re: (industrial, acid) Sludge Mechanic EP
Very nice project you have here Bloma. Listened through all 4 tracks, twice. I feel like the music evokes a lot of visual imagery, which is something that speaks to me when it comes to music. Words that come to mind: cohesive, overwhelming, dark, hypnotic, futuristic yet harkens back to something i...
