Re: Multiple MIDI lanes for one instrument
For mono sounds you can add an RPG8 per track and then merge the CV Gate into a single device.

Re: ES10 (beta) - Ekssperimental Sounds Studio
Looks interesting but from the video it seems like it isn’t an emulation, it just emulates the workflow. I like Ekss GUIs a lot but when it comes to classic gear I want it to sound close to the original. I saw on Facebook some videos of a TR606 style device, which I hope is close to the hardware.

They say the classic is the ProCo RAT.

I tried to create a Reason version of this and the closest sounding for me was Pulveriser.

Re: Tempo increments of 1 from a mapped knob
Mapping tempo (20-999bpm) to a normal MIDI knob that only has 128 values results in big jumps in values. So roughly a range of 979bpm divided by 128 = 7.65bpm per value. Tempo is best mapped to an endless rotary controller which will add ±1 to the tempo. The type that clicks when you turn them are b...

Re: Anyone developing a mixer?
How useful is the EQ if we can add any other EQ as an insert before going into the mixer? I thought maybe it might be cool for drum kits but not for instruments in Combinators. I guess it depends on what people are using this kind of mixer for. I think the sends are very useful though.

Re: Why are there only two CV inputs and outputs in Complex-1?
Personally I think if Thor has the CV outputs it does then Complex 1 should have at least the same amount and possibly audio CV outs seeing as it is RS’s take on modular. Of course you can it in a Combinator but that’s the equivalent of wiring it up to a CV to MIDI converter with the associated loss...

It looks like the Mod Matrix and Reverb from Europa, although I'm not sure why it looks so blue. The thing on the left is Friktion and it looks the same colour as that.

Re: Combinator 2 question or Combinator 3 possibility
Yes. This is exactly what I do. Alt click on the parameter to create an automation lane. Now you can adjust the parameter to whatever you want and when you want to snap back to the default you click the Reset Automation Override button. This can also be mapped to your MIDI controller. The downside i...

Re: Model 82 Sequencing Mono Synth $19 with Coupon
It's very good. I used to have an SH101 many moons ago and this nails it. I demoed this alongside the Roland Cloud version which I already have and the TAL. The Roland version isn't even close. The TAL one is much better but the Softube one sounds like the real thing. So I bought it last night. I've...

Re: How to recommend Reason Studios to your friend
Ha ha. I'm waiting for advice on how to approach this. I know two Ableton Live users who are fighting limitations and technical problems that come with VSTs and hardware. I just don't have these problems because I'm using Reason standalone with REs. Their lives could be so much easier.

Re: Behringer X-Touch mini Remote mapping
Great job. I had a BEHRINGER BCR2000 from Behringer, so I'm a fan of these larger controllers as well. And the new X-touch has even more possibilities with the displays. But the mini was a challenge for me, cramming so many functions in there seemed impossible and cluttered many times. But in the e...

Re: Remote Maps for Behringer X-Touch
A couple of known issues: • Rewind and FastForward buttons don't control Rewind and FastForward. Pressing the Rewind button and then adjusting the jog wheel moves the L loop marker and pressing the FFD button controls the R marker. I may change this or I may not – I didn't find it very useful to hav...

Hi. I've put together a new mapping for the X-Touch (non-mini) so cross posting here as I think it may be of interest to some people in this thread.

Remote Maps for Behringer X-Touch
I've been working on this over Winter and I think it's time to share this for some feedback and so that other people can try this out. It's a work in progress and the mapping is focused on my needs so it has some quirks, but feel free to modify it how you see fit. First of all this is based on the X...

Remote Maps for Hades VMC-207
The Hades VMC-207 is an obscure Midi controller to control mixers that was available in the early 2000s. https://www.hispasonic.com/noticias/superficie-control-hades-music-vmc-207/760 These remote files are for controlling the main SSL mixer in Reason. The project is currently abandoned and unsuppor...

Re: Akai Midimix Overlays with Remote Mapping
I don't think the price is low considering the time that will have gone into these. If these were physical products I don't think that would add much to the cost as the cost is mainly time spent making the graphics. Anyone who thinks this is expensive could have a go at creating their own version an...

Re: Automate Combinator run switch
My goal is to trigger the Players devices inside a Combinator anywhere i want from the main Sequencer. It´s like a clip launcher poor version in Reason Daw, instead of trigger them all at same time. If i can automate the Combinator´s run switch i can control when and where it start and stop. I know...

And another one here showing single operator feedback for the synths that allow this. There could be errors in this, for example I wasn't sure how to set this up for Complex-1. Would have liked to have seen this but still happily using R10, did anything stand out as odd or better or worse than the ...
