Re: SDK 2.5: New RE Wishlist
I'd like to see a powerful sampler/synth along the similar lines to UVI Falcon.

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
Mr. Lizard, what happened to the mapping file in the first post of this thread? I'm looking for a mapping for Stringwerk which you earlier put in the file on the first post but now it's not there? I took that map down because it was based off the maps previous to the recent update so it didn't jibe...

Re: Nektar Panorama Remote Maps Thread
Hi all, Just chiming in to show my appreciation to everyone who's taking the time and effort for all us Nektar owners. It really is appreciated. Is some kind soul still working on the Nostromo mapping? Amen to that if someone is :) I love Nostromo but damn it's too small for my fading eyes o_O I ha...

Re: Rob Papen´s Vecto Instrument is in the Shop
I hope they fix this website issue, as if you have a lot of Rack Extensions as I and am sure many of you do, it is not practical to go the page of every single Rack Extension you own just to see if there is an update! Thankfully you guys are on the ball with the major updates on here and keep us up...

Re: A little disappointed: Nektar P Series
The Logic integration has been released and it's pretty sweet. There's even an included editor to (re)map plugins including third party AUs. There is a couple of caveats, mainly that the pages cannot be renamed but generally it's great. So, if it can be done for Logic, it can be done for Reason, wou...

Re: A little disappointed: Nektar P Series
Actually, I don't mind the lack of motorised faders. I remember mixing on a SoundTracs Jade with VCA automation about 20 years ago. We had to manually line up each fader with the position on the monitor. We got used to it - but the P1 is much easier to handle than that as the P1 has 8 faders and our...

Re: A little disappointed: Nektar P Series
I have a P1 and I totally agree also. I don't think it's possible to create your own mappings. Having an editor and a community shared area is a brilliant idea. Or even submitting user created maps to Nektar for testing and quality control would be faster than them creating them from scratch. Perhap...

Re: How do you think Props will do it?
Rack Extension interfaces are required to be created at a much higher resolution than is displayed in the rack, so all third-party devices are accounted for. It is basically guaranteed that at some point Propellerhead will update all of their in-house devices in the same way and that Reason will be...

No, they are definitely raster based graphics. Vector graphics are much simpler - just look at Capture One v3 for example.Benedict wrote:Could it be that the graphics are all done in a vector format already, maybe using a format like that used by Inkscape?

Re: How do you think Props will do it?
That's true but that means that all developers - past and present, will have to redo all their interface graphics.selig wrote:One other possible approach: higher resolution graphics will allow a level of scaling.

How do you think Props will do it?
Since the very beginning Propellerhead software has followed a skeuomorphic design (designed to emulate the interface of real world hardware) for Reason which has been a unique selling point for them and has worked very well. However, as time marches on and higher resolution monitors become more pop...

Re: Presets and locations
Thanks Scott, So Reason's 'smart browser' only works for a device's factory presets? You cannot save to the same location? Those factory presets are in refills. You cannot save to refills directly. Saving to the same location is not an option. So, there's no way to automatically go to where user pr...

Presets and locations
hi all,
Here's a nice easy question for you. Where do you guys store your own presets for standard and RE devices? Is it possible to have these preset locations recalled when a device is selected like for the default preset locations?

I hope they update it soon, I've just ordered a Panorama P1 and it would be a shame if they don't release any more updates.
