Re: (SOLVED) Quickly rearrange song sections in sequencer? (No Blocks?)
Yes, the beauty of the way it works in a couple of other daws is that you can easily redrag whole sections and since you're still always in the sequencer view you can also easily rearrange/mute individual clips without the hassle of having to jump into blocks all the time, which lets you try out dif...

Re: Quickly rearrange song sections in sequenzer? (No Blocks)
no, since creating a song using blocks from the beginning is a very different workflow.
for some people there might not be a big difference, which means the way the produce music is already using the blocks ''mentality''

Re: Quickly rearrange song sections in sequenzer? (No Blocks)
For anyone in the future, the current getaround is as follows: 1. Produce your song as you usually would. 2. Chop Midi and Audio into the Sections you would like to have. 3. Turn on Blocks and define your Sections 4. Select everything in that region then copy 5. Paste into Block (make sure Block len...

(SOLVED) Quickly rearrange song sections in sequencer? (No Blocks?)
Hi all, Was wondering if there is a function, or how you guys get around when wanting to rearange whole sections of a song. Other daws let you do this mostly with arrangment markers/zones etc. Once a song get pretty big and/or has many different sections it becomes a bit of a pain to select and drag...

Re: Mac only Line Mixer Pan not working. R11 only.
depending how you routed the devices it could be that the line mixer routed in mono to the mix channel which might be the cause that panning in the line mixer does nothing.

Re: BPM to MS converter (including dotted and triplet notes)
For Mac OS Users i recommend The Lyons' Den Delay Time Calculator. Released under GNU 3.0 Type/Tap your BPM. Easy multipliers since it shows from 1 beat all the way to 1/128 beats and can show both ms and Hz. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RZvojtRqUVLZqIO9S9butCefxV2UgO4m_hA9xIDWK8Y/edit Edit: ...

Re: Are there any Reason tools for multisampling hardware?
Do what chritian henson does in this video. Instead of logics exs use reasons nnxt. He prefers to work in fifth's and to pitch them down since most software does a beter jobs with pitching down than pitching up. He also has a template in another video of his session that i once rebuilt in reason. Hi...

Re: Serato Sample owners: how do you like it?
the biggest complaint I have right now is: samples are NOT saved with the project, so if you move your original sample or the drive it was on takes a crap, you're screwed. this is my biggest problem after using it at the start and being happy that they added multi outs i very rarely use it anymore....

Re: "Unbind" Tempo Grid?
right click and makre sure your samples all have 'disable stretch' then adjust bpm to match.
if this doesnt work (consolidate if needed) and bounce in place then right click and make sure you click 'disable stretch' then adjust bpm

Re: Serato Sampler
yeah sampling in reason isnt the problem i normally chop/timestretch the samples but then like to use dr.rex to play em on my mpc. the 'lazy chopping' like in ableton that is avalaible in serato sampler and the automatic key detection Also being able to stretch the sample all over the keyboard is a ...

Re: Serato Sampler
Its really nice. At the moment the only problem is that it doesnt contain the sample within the project itself.
For people that use reason with the self contain settings its gonna be a pain.
Furthermore drag and drop from within reasons' browser to seratos sampler doesnt work correctly.

Re: Noticable latency differences when recording effect
Have you tried sending the drums directly out wihtout the shelob inserted? Recording Latency compensation should adjust anything recorded. Since your signal flow should be : Reason drums ---> Hammerfall Output (which adds 3ms to your signal) ---> HW Insert---> Hammerfall Input (adding 4 ms) 7 ms of ...

Try using the Recoring Latency Compensation in your Audio Settings and see if that works.
Try 4 ms, 3ms and 7 ms.

Re: Automatic Zero dB gain ?
I would setup a Template using the Gain Knobs at the Top of the SSL and set them all to something like -10 dBFS or -18 dBFS and the simply import the files select them all and hit normalize. By using that template you can simply normalize all your stems once you have imported them using a keyboard s...

Re: Balance letting in mic signal when input gain is zero?
It is due to the cloudlifter that you have attached between the mic and balance.
If you connect the sm57 directly and crank the gain on the balance you should be getting enough signal in without the cloudlifter attached.

Re: Balance letting in mic signal when input gain is zero?
This is because the SM57 still has the 20 dB of Gain supplied by the Cloudlifter. Although the Mic Input on your Balance is not giving it any Gain (Which is not like a Volume Knob, Gain can only add dBs when its completely turned down it is simply not giving it any Gain) it has the Gain from the clo...

Re: Unknown Waveforms and Values in Reason
I think this is to the "musical" nature that we find in reason. Most if not all devices by propellerhead use the number system since i think they want you to to create anf mix music using your ear. That is why a lot of devices also dont let you input dB number e.g the SSL mixer. And it makes perfect...
